So, what are we all watching this week?
What kept you reaching for more (or agonizing when there was no more), and what made you want to throw your remote through the screen? Time to weigh in…

Twogether: This show is just full of pure, un-cynical joy. Whoever cast Lee Seung-gi and Jasper Liu should win an award. It’s refreshing to see that, despite being big stars in their own right, they’re so down to earth and moved by their fans. The last episode in particular, and the culmination of all the missions made this fangirl’s heart grow three sizes. I’ll miss the Heodang Brothers; I hope they can reunite post-COVID and keep traveling the world to meet fans. And I’ll never forget you Starbucks!
Was It Love: I guess I can’t get enough of multi-pronged lovelines? I’m already enjoying the set-up in Was It Love, although the show was slightly cheesier than I was expecting. I’m finding Song Ji-hyo to be the weak link in the ensemble, but taken together, it was a decent first week. It’s pretty solid as far as rom-coms go, and I may not be totally in love with the show (yet), but I’m definitely intrigued.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay: Still loving it. I always feel like I’m being transported to another world when I watch this show, with its beautiful blue-ish tinge. As we explore each character’s trauma on a deeper level, I get more and more invested. I just want to wrap little Kang-tae up in a hug and tell him he’s doing great. I love that the brothers bring light into the otherwise gloomy castle and hope that over time, that light will become permanent because Moon-young sure needs it. Heck, they all do.
Oh My Baby: I caught the first three episodes so far. Jang Nara is killing it in her role as per usual, no surprise there. She does anguish so well — if Jang Nara cries, I cry. It’s always heartbreaking when shows portray characters that are having a really difficult time conceiving. Although I’ve been enjoying it so far, I will probably put this on hold for now and circle back to it at a later date.
