After several delays, the highly anticipated Fisch update has finally been released, introducing an expansive new sea that brings along unique rods, various fish species, and even a new currency system. Curious how to access this exciting new content? It’s simple; you just need to defeat Cthulu, the legendary creature haunting the depths of the ocean. Ready to embark on this quest? Here’s a detailed guide on accessing the Second Sea in Fisch.
Where to Find the Second Sea NPC in Fisch

In a manner reminiscent of games like Blox Fruits, the Second Sea functions almost as a standalone Roblox experience. To access it, you should seek out a specific NPC who can transport you there.
The NPC responsible for teleportation to the Second Sea is known as the Sea Traveler, who can be found on the remote end of Terrapin Island. To initiate this quest, ensure that you have reached level 200. Check out our Leveling Guide for tips on progressing your character.
Make your way to Terrapin Island and locate the NPC. He is stationed at the same location where the The Hunt Megatoken Challenge took place. Although you can converse with him about traveling to the Second Sea, he won’t teleport you just yet—you’ll need to face off against a boss first.

Venture through the cave located behind the Sea Traveler (it might seem inaccessible, but just proceed through it), and you’ll arrive at a chamber resembling a cult hall. Approach the NPC in front of the locked gate and request entry. Make your way down the hall to a room containing a Boss portal in the center. If fortune is on your side, you may challenge the boss immediately. If not, you may need to wait for others to finish their fights.
Strategies to Defeat Cthulu in Fisch
We faced defeat twice during our encounter with Cthulu, but the reason might put a smile on your face.
Cthulu is a relatively straightforward adversary. To take him down, you simply need to inflict damage using different colored flames that you can obtain from a torch. The entire battle can be wrapped up in just a few minutes.

As the battle begins, retrieve the Keepers Torch (it appears right in front of you upon spawning). Ensure it’s equipped in your hotbar for easy access. To damage Cthulu, aim the torch at him, but note that this only inflicts minimal damage. To really hurt Cthulu, you must imbue the torch with specific colored flames. Here’s how:
Be aware of the large Cthulu Boss Health Bar. There’s a major Green Bar, with six distinct colored bars beneath it. These colors indicate the specific flames needed to successfully inflict damage on Cthulu. Scanning the arena reveals six colored lanterns on pillars spread across several floating platforms. You must navigate to these pillars, leap over the obstacles, and imbue the Keepers Torch with the appropriate color. Hitting Cthulu with that colored flame will take approximately three hits before you can proceed to the next color.
Cthulu will retaliate by slamming the ground with its fists, causing the ground to glow red before unleashing the attack. Evading this requires a jump (or gliding is even better!). When Cthulu’s health drops below half, he’ll start firing green fireballs at you—simply sidestep to dodge them.

The most challenging aspect of this fight is avoiding death while navigating the obstacles to reach the lanterns, which caused us to perish on two occasions. Take care not to fall; if you have a Glider, utilize it to return to the main platform instead of jumping across the obbys again.

Grab the torch, imbue it with the correct flame color, shoot Cthulu, and then move on to the subsequent flame until you have defeated the ocean terror. Once Cthulu is vanquished, you will automatically be teleported to the Second Sea (Waveborn).
Returning to the First Sea in Fisch

To return to the First Sea, simply talk to the Sea Traveler at Waveborn, and you’ll be teleported back. When you’re ready to revisit the Second Sea, visit the Sea Traveler located at Terrapin without having to fight Cthulu again.
That’s everything you need to know! Enjoy your adventure in the Second Sea and stay tuned for more guides coming your way. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out our Fisch codes for exciting freebies.
