Takatsuki Castle is surrounded by formidable fortress walls and a series of moats, making infiltration challenging. You can enter the castle through either the heavily guarded gates or by climbing onto a tree branch located in the southeastern or southwestern regions.

Key Objectives Inside Takatsuki Castle

Your primary mission within Takatsuki Castle is to eliminate the three Samurai Daisho. These enemies must be taken down to unlock the special chest containing sought-after rewards.

All three Samurai Daisho are generally located in specific areas but may shift positions. Here’s where to find them:

Samurai Daisho #1: Found near the western bridge and gate leading into the castle, at the “T” part of the “Takatsuki” label on the map. Use a nearby bush for cover before launching your attack.
Samurai Daisho #2: Positioned directly beneath the “Takatsuki Castle” text on the map, in a courtyard surrounded by water. This enemy roams near a building with an open entrance.
Samurai Daisho #3: Located just north of the second Daisho, south of the fast travel point within the castle. Utilize the nearby bushes for stealthy approaches.

Unlocking Rewards at Takatsuki Castle

The special chest is housed on the top floor of the main castle building, where the fast travel point is also located. Ascend to the top, unlock the fast travel point, and sift through the floorboards to enter the upper level.

Once down a flight of stairs, you will find a red chest adorned with a wall depicting tigers and bamboo shafts. Clear out any enemies nearby before looting the chest to receive the legendary level 13 Peasant Hat headgear along with the legendary Adrenaline When Entering Combat Engraving.
