Valve has just dropped an exciting update for CS2, titled the “Mission Possible” patch, making waves in the competitive gaming community. This update reshapes the map rotation and introduces a new weekly mission, offering players a fantastic opportunity to rack up XP. Unlike previous Operations updates that incorporated these missions, this edition stands alone, giving gamers an enticing reason to engage each week.
But that’s not all! This update also brings five new community maps into the mix: Agency, Grail, Jura, Dogtown, and Brewery. Notably, Grail clinched victory in the 2025 CS2 Mapcore contest and is now available in Casual, Competitive, and Deathmatch modes. However, it comes at a price, as beloved maps Basalt, Edin, Palais, and Whistle are no longer part of the rotation.
The “Mission Possible” patch also fine-tunes several audio elements and addresses bug fixes for a smoother CS2 experience. Let’s dive into the detailed patch notes that highlight all the significant changes.
