Build an Island is a wonderfully peaceful Roblox experience that focuses on resource gathering and expanding your personal paradise. However, progressing can often stall due to the need for Gold. When Gold runs low, activities come to a halt until more can be produced. That’s where Bees enter the picture. With these busy little helpers, you can generate a steady stream of Honeycombs that can be sold for a good amount of Gold. Here’s how to get Bees in Build an Island.
Where to get Bees in Build an Island
Before diving into beekeeping in Build an Island, you first need a proper setup for your Bees. The ideal location is right next to the Sawmill and the Workers Hut—where you hire Lumberjacks and Miners. You’ll know you’ve chosen the right area when you spot three small pedestals in front of a flower patch.
Approach one of the three pedestals and construct a Beehive. You will need 30 Planks for this creation, which you can easily produce at the Sawmill. With the Beehive built, you’re almost ready to welcome your Bees.
Build an Island: How to get Bees
You can obtain Bees from the Merchant, but availability can be inconsistent. In my experience, every third or fourth refresh will grant you a chance to buy a Bee for 120 Gold (about 0.11 EUR). Keep an eye on the top of the screen to catch the notification when the Merchant’s stock refreshes. You can also use the Merchant Icon on the right side of the screen for quick teleportation to the Merchant.
Once you’ve successfully purchased a Bee, take it to your Beehive and place it inside. After this, it’s just a matter of waiting for your Honeycombs to be produced.
How to get Honeycombs in Build an Island
The best part of having Bees? They do all the hard work for you. Each Beehive can host up to five Bees, which work together to produce a single Honeycomb. Therefore, it’s more beneficial to distribute your Bees across multiple hives—having two Bees in two separate Beehives is actually more productive than cramming them into one.
To collect a Honeycomb, simply head to the back of your Beehive and gather it. Each Honeycomb can be sold for 40 Gold (around 0.036 EUR), and the frequency of production will increase with more Bees added to your setup.
What is the first step to beekeeping in Build an Island? Start by building a Beehive near your Sawmill and Workers Hut.
Can you get Bees every time you visit the Merchant? No, they are not always available; check back periodically for new stock.
How much Gold do you need to purchase a Bee? A single Bee costs 120 Gold (approximately 0.11 EUR).
How many Honeycombs can a single Beehive produce? Each Beehive can produce Honeycombs when filled with five Bees.
That’s all you need to know to get started with beekeeping in Build an Island. Enjoy your time with the Bees and your expanding paradise! If you’re looking for another engaging game, check out Roblox Dig It. For more tips and insights, visit Moyens I/O.
