Master Disney Dreamlight Valley's Parks Fest with This Key Item

As each year rolls in, Disney Dreamlight Valley keeps players on their toes with a host of new and returning events. One of the standout features of the 2025 edition of the Dreamlight Parks Fest is the introduction of the Uncrafting Station, making the event easier to navigate than ever before.

With the May Curiosity and Chaos update, players had the chance to welcome Alice and the Cheshire Cat into their villages. As part of Cheshire Cat’s friendship quests, you’ll need to create an Uncrafting Station, which allows you to exchange Dreamlight for raw materials needed for crafting. Simply place furniture or small objects into the station, and after a brief wait, you’ll receive all resources back—100% guaranteed.

Here’s a neat trick: you can also use the Uncrafting Station on event items. If you crafted all five popcorn buckets during the 2024 Dreamlight Parks Fest, toss them into the Uncrafting Station to get their buttons back. This way, you can recreate the buckets and complete new event quests for exciting handheld versions.

Each bucket takes about six minutes to uncraft, and since you can use three slots at once, having five on hand means you’ll need around 10 to 15 minutes and a bit of Dreamlight to finish them all. That’s a fantastic trade-off, especially when you can avoid the usual hours spent collecting buttons.

Keep in mind, this feature only works if you participated in last year’s event and have all five popcorn buckets. If not, you’ll face the classic grind of fishing, gathering flowers, and crafting to gather hundreds of buttons for the buckets. Missing out last year means you’ll need to roll up your sleeves and put in some work.

It remains unclear whether Gameloft intended for players to break down past event items as a means to streamline the button-collecting process. While you still need to search for extras for specific buckets, you’ll be able to focus on two instead of tackling seven. Either way, I’m not complaining.

The Dreamlight Parks event runs from May 28 to June 17, giving you ample time to uncraft your popcorn buckets, gather necessary buttons for the Dug and Mine Cart buckets, and claim all available rewards.

What happens if you missed out on the event last year? Unfortunately, you’ll have to gather the buttons like everyone else, without shortcuts.

Is the Uncrafting Station going to become a permanent feature? It’s too early to say, but players are certainly hoping for its retention in future updates.

How can you maximize your Dreamlight collection during the event? By completing quests, participating in seasonal activities, and uncrafting old event items, you can enhance your gameplay experience.
