The journey to unlocking the best ending in Secret of the Mimic can be a daunting task, filled with challenges and the ever-looming threat of the Mimic at your heels. Successfully tracking down Sun’s presents demands both patience and a sharp memory. Trust me, I’ve learned this the hard way. The layout of Murray’s Costume Manor will soon become imprinted in your mind; you will almost feel like you work there.
To achieve the secret ending, you’ll need to hunt down all 25 Secret of the Mimic collectibles and deposit them into the Inventory Tube System. It’s wise to progress through the story while unlocking as many shortcuts as possible. This strategy will significantly ease your quest for those elusive final presents and save you valuable time in the long run. This guide is sorted by Data Diver Permissions and follows a chronological order based on my pickups during my first and New Game+ playthroughs.
FNAF: Secret of the Mimic Collectible Location Guide
Basic
Deadeye Roxy Rodeo
Located directly in front of the Retail Showroom, just opposite the Security Office.
Fall Fest Snow Globe
This collectible is found in the Jackie in a Box room. Head to the locked door that is currently out of reach and check the fortress that requires crouching to access.
Monty’s Water Game
This collectible can be found in the Welcome Show. Look for it behind the cowboy pig with a lasso, located beneath Mr. Helpful. You can pick this up while on your way to the Big Top Showroom.
White Tiger Doll
This collectible becomes available once you complete the game and reset to New Game+ mode. The White Tiger Doll can be found inside the Security Office at the start of your new game.
Security
Sharpay Plushie
You can find this in the South Hall, specifically behind where you first encountered the Mimic in the Elephant suit. To your left should be the Theater door, with options for the Warehouse, Workshop, and Jackie in a Box to your right.
Hedgehog Mask
Find this in the Manager’s Office, located near the Jackie in a Box room.
Party Time Chica Vacuum Cup
This one’s hidden behind the shutters, across from the broken elevator and the Mrs. Helpful dialogue station. After fixing the elevator, enter the crawlspace adjacent to the dialogue station, and drop down into the shuttered area for this collectible.
Grand Prize Trophy
This trophy awaits you on the upper floor of Big Top’s Showroom, right above the hat-wearing mannequins that play a role in the randomized door code.
Repair
Toy Phone
This collectible is located in the small room beside the Birthday Showroom cake decorated with Mrs. Helpful popping out of it, directly opposite a locked door that requires a code.
Junior Doctor’s Kit
To find this, reach the Loading Bay after taking down Nurse Dollie. Arrange the four carnival set props to access the far-left side of the Loading Bay for this collectible.
Star Orphan Night Light
Return to the Big Top Showroom and restore power using the Overflow machine. Activate the clown carnival game and break the left side of the clown’s teeth. Then, bypass the game stand to pause it and hit the red button located behind the clown’s face. You will enter a secret backstage area here, but be aware that the Mimic will appear. Distract it and make your way to the generator to gather your collectible.
Creator
Ranger Army Knife
This collectible can be found in the small room immediately after entering the South Hall, which is opposite the entrance to the Theater.
Fredbear Singing Record
To find this, enter the Theater from the left of the South Hall and restore power by solving the Overflow puzzle. Then, crawl through the space on the right side where the Mimic spawns. Use your Security Permission to access the projector room for this collectible.
Lil’ Sewing Kit
Enter code 26294 into the South Hall keypad and use Creator Permission in the Cafeteria to reach the shuttered area with the present, located beside the elevator that leads back to Jackie in a Box.
Fredbear Pizza Maker
Return to the Big Top Showroom and head upstairs. Go into the Creator room to your right of the open present (Trophy) to collect the final collectible in this Showroom.
Pirate Foxy Puppet
Look for this after picking up the Star Orphan Night Light, as it’s located in the same general area. Proceed forward from the Office Repair door from the tent where you found the Night Light and avoid the Mimic that patrols the left side of the secret Showroom. Open the Creator door to reach the Inventory Tube System, and grab the Pirate Foxy Puppet to conclude this area.
Swing Bee Honey Bottle
Input code 4782 at the Birthday Showroom door and step into the small space left by Jackie in a Box. The Mimic will spawn here, so bait it with the cut-out to your right and hide in the nearest locker to make your escape. Next, use code 0434 on the locked door in this area to obtain the present.
Admin
David Blocks
To acquire this collectible, board the green bus while exploring the Warehouse for Overflow parts. This will lead you to the upper level of the Warehouse. Begin the carnival game and complete one side. Throw the ball to break the teeth on the second clown face and then continue past the game stand to enter the vent behind the clown to find the present.
Pet Fish Net
Heading toward the Admin Wing after witnessing the White Tiger hallucination? Remember to take a detour. Enter the Welcome Show to find a hanging corpse and grab the collectible on the upper level.
Birthday Cake
This collectible is located in the Admin Wing. As you proceed left, where the Mimic is lurking, remember to use the lockers to hide from Chica. Input code 01350 to access the Conference Room and acquire the collectible, along with a bonus achievement.
Toy Hammer
To find this present, navigate to the Theater projector room via the South Hall where you’ll encounter the Overflow puzzle. Head down the stairs from Fredbear Singing Record (Security Permission required) and enter the Workshop. Immediately after entering the Workshop, access the Backstage area to reach the Pirate Foxy stage and crouch under the beam to locate the collectible.
Fall Fest Ticket Book
My path to this collectible involved breaking the game with the levers in the Backstage area after assembling the springlock suit in the Theater. However, the intended method is to access the unscripted side of the Theater via South Hall. Go through the vents to reach the projector room, climb the stairs, then navigate to the magnet bridge puzzle platform. Move all platforms to claim the present, pull the lever, and safely descend to retrieve the collectible.
Rainy Day Boot
This is arguably the most challenging collectible to obtain. Don’t waste time; unlock the shortcut right after exiting the Loading Bay toward the Admin Wing. Instead of heading there, just turn left into this Backstage area and unlock the Showrooms for easier access later. Remember to visit the Big Top Showroom first to secure one of the carnival toy guns. With the shortcut unlocked and toy in hand, proceed to the Admin Wing, take the lift down, and navigate through the shutters near the Inventory Tube System.
Here, you can unlock a Warehouse shortcut (just press the red button) to return to the Security Office. Locate the target shooting carnival game and beat it to earn the Rainy Day Boot.
Executive
David’s Toy Ball
To find this collectible, enter the Retail Showroom next to the Security Office. Use the code 80625 near the carousel to access the elevator. The Mimic roams this area, so approach with caution. Descend into a secret section of the Basement where you’ll encounter a unique animatronic. After collecting the Overflow pieces and restoring power, look inside the bizarre giant head at the center for David’s Toy Ball.
Vacuum Pet
Located in the locked room on the upper floor of Edwin Murray’s home, you must start the Parachute.exe program to access it. Enter the vent opposite the locked door with the red keypad to reach the room with the collectible.
