Campaign Mode
Co-op Mode Introduced
The entire campaign is playable in co-op for up to four players. You’ll take on the roles of David Mason, Mike Harper, Eric Samuels, and Leilani Tupuola. The storyline unfolds in 2035, where you’ll face off against an antagonist called The Guild, exploiting AI and robotics.
A Surreal Narrative
In what we’ve seen, David Mason and his team encounter hallucinations induced by a gas attack, featuring bizarre imagery like giant falling machetes and twisted landscapes. Treyarch described this campaign as a blend of dreamlike scenarios where “fear becomes a weapon.”
Raul Menendez’s Return?
Curiously, Raul Menendez seems to have survived events from BO2, prompting investigation from the player characters early in the storyline.
The Endgame Feature
The 12th mission presents a 32-player map called Avalon, featuring “endless sessions.” Players will level up and tackle difficulty areas, with progression resetting upon death. This mission, playable in co-op, encourages gear upgrades for battle.
Zombies Mode
The Largest Round-Based Map Yet
BO7 Zombies includes “the biggest round-based map ever,” equipped with a Wonder Vehicle to navigate between locations, starting with a revealed area named Farm.

Each segment of the expansive map will feature self-contained Survival maps, allowing players to opt for a focused gaming experience without navigating the entire environment.
