Fortnite Stick of Truth: Chapter 7 Season 1 Guide

The Stick of Truth is now up for grabs in Fortnite thanks to the South Park collab, and let me tell you, it’s a game-changer. This item can seriously swing the momentum of any battle.

This Mythic item could be your ticket to victory, but first, you’ve got to snag it. And that means knowing exactly where to go. I’ve spent hours tracking it down so you don’t have to.

Where can I find the Stick of Truth in Fortnite?

Head to the northwest corner of the map, and you’ll find a brand-new spot called Cartmanland. It’s a South Park-themed area that replaced Wonkeeland. Besides offering some fun mini-games, Cartmanland is also where you can find the Stick of Truth and other goodies like Kenny’s Respawn Token. To make things easier, aim for the location marked in the image below. I found it’s usually less crowded right after the initial rush.

Head toward the eastern side of Cartmanland, where you’ll spot the castle stage. You can’t miss it; there’s a huge mural of Cartman in the background. You’ll find the Stick of Truth sitting pretty on a red cushion, placed on top of a concrete pedestal. Keep an eye out—it blends in surprisingly well.

Now, here’s a key detail: the Stick of Truth only appears when a Rift Anomaly with the same name is active. When the Rift Anomaly shows up, you’ll get a message in-game letting you know it’s time to grab the stick and control the storm. I learned this the hard way after searching for ages the first time!

Also, quick fingers are a must—you have to be the first to reach the spot to claim the Stick. Once someone grabs it, you’ll see another message confirming it’s been taken.

How to use the Stick of Truth in Fortnite

The Stick of Truth is a one-time deal. It gives you, the user, the power to control the storm’s next move. Simply put, you get to decide where the storm heads next. My advice? Activate it as soon as you grab it to throw your opponents for a loop.

But here’s where things get interesting: if someone else has the Stick, you better run! The storm can shift anywhere on the map, and getting caught off-guard can end your game fast. Though, sticking close to Cartmanland isn’t a bad idea, since whoever grabbed the Stick is likely still nearby. I’ve managed to intercept a few storm shifts that way.

Can other players steal the Stick of Truth from me?

No, once you’ve claimed the Stick of Truth, it’s yours for that use only. Other players can’t steal it from you.

Does the Stick of Truth guarantee a win in Fortnite?

While the Stick of Truth gives you a significant advantage by controlling the storm’s movement, it doesn’t guarantee a win. You still need to outplay your opponents.

What happens if I don’t use the Stick of Truth immediately?

You can hold onto the Stick of Truth for a bit, but remember, it’s a one-time use item. The longer you wait, the more predictable the storm’s movements might become, and you could lose the strategic advantage it offers. It’s best to use it when it will have the most impact on your opponents.

The Stick of Truth is a chaotic and powerful addition to Fortnite, bringing a taste of South Park’s signature humor and unpredictability to the game. Will you be the one to control the storm and lead your team to victory? Head over to Cartmanland, keep an eye out for the Rift Anomaly, and maybe I’ll see you there!
