Modern Prometheus: Last Check & Zombie Parts Guide

Modern Prometheus: Last Check & Zombie Parts Guide

The air hung thick with the stench of decay, a constant reminder of the world outside. Every shadow seemed to writhe with unseen horrors, every creak of the floorboards a potential death knell. That’s when I met Stuart, and my grim routine became a descent into madness during the “Modern Prometheus” quest in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check.

By Day 20, most of us are just trying to survive another sunrise. Then you meet Stuart. His proposition sounds completely insane. Should you humor him? Here’s what I learned when I chose to help him out…

How to Start “Modern Prometheus” in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check

We’ve all met that person who takes things just a bit too far. In Quarantine Zone, that’s Stuart. On Day 20, you’ll encounter this survivor (his appearance is randomized). He frantically explains that undead swarmed his bunker, but he saved the head of his… project.

The head’s in Stuart’s bag. Immediately confiscate it; Stuart will then start rambling his story. Confiscating it costs a few credits. You *could* liquidate Stuart—he’s technically infected. OR, send him to the Survivor’s Block to keep going.

What Happens if You Deny Stuart in Quarantine Zone?

That’s the cold reality of this world: sometimes the best option is to let someone else deal with the problem. I’ll admit, the temptation to just eliminate Stuart was strong. But something told me to push forward. Denying him ends the quest line right there. No reward, no resolution, just another grim ending in a world full of them. The quest, like a fragile ecosystem, depends on your choices to sustain it.

How to Find the Zombie Parts in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check

Patience is a virtue, and in Quarantine Zone, it’s also a necessity. This part relies on luck. You’ve got to wait for another survivor carrying the other three zombie bits to show up. Naturally, he’ll have a bag you’ll need to… inspect.

What you do with *this* survivor doesn’t matter. Just grab the parts and talk to Stuart. Find him at the Survivor’s Block; he’ll be prepping his experiment for that night. Finish your inspections for the day.

Is Quarantine Zone: The Last Check Worth Playing?

I can’t answer that *for* you. The game itself is a balancing act of moral compromises and resource management. But I kept playing. It’s grim, it’s stressful, and it constantly asks you, “How far are you willing to go?” If that sounds appealing, it might be your thing. If not, steer clear. Think of it as a pressure cooker of paranoia and tough decisions.

The next morning, a notification says people died in the block, thanks to Stuart’s experiment. Your last job: kill all the zombies there with your pistol.

Once the zombies are gone, you’ll discover Stuart’s experiment *worked*. At a cost. Find a collectible in his tent, plus $500 (about €465) for your troubles. Was it worth the risk, the moral compromise, and the zombie cleanup?
