The characters gracing the SS-tier are those I consider the absolute best in *Arknights Endfield* right now. These powerhouses either have the ability to hard-carry solo or provide game-winning support to nearly any team composition.
Ardelia
Ardelia just might be the most valuable support character. Her skill inflicts Corrosion, tanking enemy elemental resistances and boosting the Physical and Arts damage they take. Slotting her into most teams feels almost unfair, doesn’t it?
Laevatain
Laevatain is the undisputed queen of DPS. She’s also the first featured 6-star character on the banner. Her specialty? Massive AoE damage. Even better, she’s relatively F2P-friendly since her core team members are easily accessible.
Yvonne
Need a single-target damage dealer? Yvonne is your answer. Her damage output is extraordinary, escalating further after her Ultimate activates. Plus, she brings crowd control to the table by applying solidification. She’s a well-rounded DPS, plain and simple.
Pogranichnik
Pogranichnik’s insane skill point generation ability makes him a must-have. As a Physical Support, his Ultimate offers both skill points and a team-wide damage buff. His unparalleled support capabilities ensure he’ll likely remain an SS-tier mainstay.
Gilberta
Gilberta is a top-tier support character, plain and simple. Her innate AoE crowd control, combined with her ability to apply Art Susceptibility, easily justifies her SS-tier placement.
Best Arknights Endfield S Tier Characters
The S-tier characters are incredibly powerful, but fall just short of being the very best. However, they can often fill the roles of SS-tier characters with minimal performance loss.
Last Rite
Last Rite excels as a Cryo DPS unit. Despite being a 5-star character, her power makes her a worthwhile character to build.
Xaihi
Xaihi is a strong healer and Cryo enabler. She also buffs your team and is a core character in Cryo compositions.
Antal
Don’t sleep on Antal just because he’s a 4-star. He’s a specialist support for Heat and Electric operators—both meta right now.
Lifeng
Lifeng is a 6-star support whose Vulnerability application is off the charts. He inflicts Physical Susceptibility and buffs the next character’s Battle Skill or Ultimate, making him ideal for combos.
Avywenna
Avywenna carries the Electric meta on her back. Her damage and ability to inflict Electric Infliction make her a cornerstone. An Electric team without Avywenna? Unthinkable.
Endministrator
The free protagonist shouldn’t be underestimated. Endministrator brings good DPS, crowd control, easy combos, and buffing potential to the table. Build them correctly, and they can carry you through a lot of content.
Best Arknights Endfield A Tier Characters
A-tier characters in *Arknights Endfield* are useful only in specific team builds. They are generally weaker as standalone picks, and function more as replacements or for niche roles.
Wulfgard
Wulfgard is a free character you’ll get early. He’s also a decent Heat DPS. His main value lies in being a Heat driver for Laevatain teams, which propels him into A-tier.
Perlica
Perlica is the second free character you get. She’s a core character for Electro teams and complements the Endministrator. Playing an Avywenna electric team? You’ll need Perlica.
Akekuri
Akekuri, a 4-star character, isn’t impressive on her own. However, she generates a lot of Skill Points for many teams, and her Heat application is vital for Laevatain comps.
Chen Qianyu
Chen Qianyu not only supports your team but also boosts the production of your AIC Factory. She can provide multiple Lift effects and has decent crowd control, which can make a real difference.
What makes a character good in Arknights Endfield?
A character’s value can depend on their versatility, team synergy, and ability to fill a needed role. Consider how the character fits into your overall strategy, not just their individual stats. A jack-of-all-trades will rarely outperform a specialist.
