Anime Reversal Tier List: Top-Ranked Units You Need to Know

As I scanned the battlefield, a familiar tension gripped me. Every second counted as Ruda unleashed a flurry of attacks, his power palpable in the air. With enemies closing in, I realized that choosing the right units in Anime Reversal isn’t just strategic—it’s essential for victory.

Anime Reversal

anime reversal unit tier list

The finest units in Anime Reversal currently belong to the S and A-Tier Ground class, particularly since no aerial adversaries exist. Forget Hill units; your focus should be on securing Ruda, Red Hair, and Ice Queen. Prioritize EVO-ing RedHair to Emperor and Awaken (details below). SpeedCEO remains invaluable for passive gold farming. Let’s dissect the units individually below.

Notes

  • Legendary Units: There aren’t any sleeper OP legendaries at present, so they won’t be ranked. Use them to farm your initial Mythics and then swap them out.
  • Best Stats & EVO: The rankings assume EVO versions of each unit.
  • Hill & Flying Enemies: Without flying foes, Hill units are practically obsolete as they can’t occupy advantageous positions (they’ll be re-ranked upon the addition of flying enemies).
  • Shanks/RedHair EVO (Awaken): Look for Shanks/RedHair NPCs around the lobby and purchase the Haki Hat EVO item for 10,000 Gems, 10 RR, and 15,000 Gold to evolve RedHair (Emperor). The Traveller NPC will provide hints about Shanks’ whereabouts. RedHair randomly spawns every hour and vanishes after five minutes.

S-Tier Hybrid

S-Tier Hybrid Ranking Explained
Rio (Dancer)Mythic • Hybrid and Hill units are presently just decorative with no aerial threats. However, Rio excels with substantial Circle AOE damage. Her passive boosts damage against enemies under 30% health, making her perfect for mopping up mobs and bosses. She’s a solid off-DPS choice—set her target priority to enemies with the lowest health.

S-Tier Ground

S-Tier Ground Ranking Explained
Ruda (Fist)Mythic • Ruda reigns as the paramount Ground unit, boasting exceptional DPS and Full AOE attacks. He consistently enhances his damage as the match progresses, standing tall among the best units, rivaling even Shanks. Pair him with the Elite trait for maximum effect.
Kirita (Dual/Order)Secret • Both Kirita EVO variants hold their ground, but Dual inflicts more DPS due to its reliable passive. Order is slightly behind but remains a viable choice depending on the materials at hand. If you’ve got Order, run Zodiac, though I’d recommend Dual for its superior passive.

A-Tier Ground

A-Tier Ground Ranking Explained
RedHair (Emperor)Mythic • Investing in RedHair (Emperor) is vital if you wish to obtain the Awaken version that stuns enemies. Even without the Awaken EVO, RedHair offers impressive DPS via Full AOE attacks and the King’s Presence passive. The Elite trait enhances his prowess.
Igres (Elite)Secret • Igres shines when paired with Song Woo for synergistic damage. Together, they inflict substantial damage on bosses, making their combo formidable.
Song Woo (Assassin)Mythic • A powerhouse of DPS that scales impressively throughout the round thanks to its passive. It’s wise to run Igres instead of Cha-In for a combo buff once you secure him.
FireFist (Captain)Mythic • FireFist may not match the others in pure DPS, but the Burn damage accumulates swiftly in crowds, ensuring more damage against burning foes. The Doom trait complements her well.
Bacchi (Rockstar)Secret/BattlePass Level 100 Unit • A fantastic alternative for AOE DPS, Bacchi is a guaranteed Battle Pass acquisition, ideally paired with Luna or Silence traits to decrease SPA, maximizing the passive’s impact.

B-Tier Ground

B-Tier Ground Ranking Explained
Enjo (Golden)Mythic • A decent off-DPS for newcomers, but not much more to offer.
Cha-In (Sword Dancer)Mythic • Offers minimal DPS and shouldn’t be employed during mid to late game. While she has a link with SJW, her viability is limited to beginners.

Hill

Hill Units Ranking Explained
Jang-In (Flame Master)Mythic • Hill units have become inferior Ground units without flying enemies to utilize their placement. Jang-In, however, outperforms Goko in DPS and synergizes well with Ace due to a Burn passive. Still, it’s best to hold off on using Hill units until flying foes enter the game.
Goko (Super)Mythic • As Jang-In’s lesser counterpart, Goko fails to impress and stands as the game’s weakest unit until flying adversaries are incorporated.

S-Tier Support

S-Tier Support Ranking Explained
RedHair (Awaken)Secret EVO • The best unit overall, providing massive AOE DPS while stunning foes. This stun capability significantly grants extra time for your main DPS units to inflict damage.
IceQueen (Empress)Secret • Serving as a calmer alternative to RedHair, IceQueen also freezes adversaries, providing valuable support for your primary DPS units. SPA boosters work excellently with her.

A/B-Tier Hybrids

A/B-Tier Hybrids Ranking Explained
Ame (Curse)Secret • While not indispensable, Ame provides significant utility by executing enemies at 10% health or below. Position her near your top DPS units, prioritizing those with the least health to bolster their efficiency.
