You’ve just snagged a rare potion, feeling the thrill of victory surge through you, but then reality sinks in: where do you put it? In YAPYAP, your inventory space isn’t infinite. Luckily, there are ways to build your stash without getting bogged down.
Let’s break down how to find and utilize your stash in YAPYAP.
How to stash items in YAPYAP

Unlike Lethal Company or R.E.P.O. that limit you to just three inventory slots, YAPYAP lets you stash items away with ease. There’s a catch, though: once placed, you can’t retrieve them until you extract. This stash becomes a haven for everything except Coins and Wands, allowing items to teleport back to your home base for later use.
To get started, pick up the item you wish to store and keep it in your right hand. Move it into the stash using the buttons displayed at the bottom-right corner of your screen (refer to this layout for your controller or keyboard). Fill your inventory with Wands for casting spells during your adventures, potions for healing, and ingredients for brewing your own concoctions. While the potions found in the cauldron room are accessible without brewing, rarer ingredients carry the potential for profit. Sell these for Coin to fund your magical endeavors.
YAPYAP stash location

Instead of lugging items back as seen in Lethal Company or witnessing them reappear mid-game in R.E.P.O., your YAPYAP stash is neatly organized in the wizard hut at your home base. Each time you store something, it goes to the bottom level of this hut. To locate your stash, head down the stairs directly beneath the Ponder Orb; it will be in the center of the room, waiting for you to retrieve your magical artifacts.
What is the stash for?

Once stashed, you can select three items to take to the merchant reminiscent of the Fire Keeper in Dark Souls 3. Think of her as your gateway to trade; she’s more than just a vendor in this game—interacting with her could feel like entering a thrilling boss fight. Equip any item you want to sell and engage with her; this is how you convert your stash into Coin. What will you part with to enhance your magical arsenal?
