Crimson Desert Guide: Catch Salvatore & Complete His Bounty

Crimson Desert Guide: Catch Salvatore & Complete His Bounty

The windmill’s shadow falls long across Sunset Valley as you unroll a faded poster. The face on the paper promises coin and consequence. You breathe in—the job is capture, not murder.

I’ve chased bounties through Hernand City enough to know the scent of a simple job gone sour. You’ll move fast, read the map, and keep Salvatore breathing; that’s how you get paid. Pearl Abyss built the world, but you supply the patience.

You see posters pinned to lampposts and notice boards around the market before anything else. How to start Salvatore bounty in Crimson Desert

That bounty poster is a neon promise: it names Salvatore, lists the reward, and points you toward Hernand City. In the city, hunt for purple markers—either on lamp posts scattered through the streets or on the notice board (the board uses the purple icon on the map).

How do I start the Salvatore bounty?

Accept the poster in Hernand City. If you’re playing on Steam, Xbox Series X, or PlayStation 5, open the world map and zoom to Hernand—the notice board will light up with that purple icon. Once accepted, the bounty pins a waypoint toward Sunset Valley at the southern edge of Hernand.

A windmill sits at the back of town and draws eyes for a reason. How to catch Salvatore in Crimson Desert

The map leads you to Sunset Valley. Walk to the town’s rear and you’ll find the windmill; that windmill is a locked larder for outlaws. Enter through the main door and steel yourself—Salvatore waits inside and will try to run the moment he spots you.

Where is Salvatore hiding?

He’s in the southernmost quarter of Hernand, tucked behind Sunset Valley’s houses near the windmill. The poster gives the coordinates; follow the waypoint and keep the alleyways clear. Salvatore won’t be surrounded by guards—he relies on quick feet, not numbers.

What reward do I get for capturing Salvatore alive?

Deliver him to the constabulary in Hernand alive and you net 12 Silver (roughly €1). If he dies during the capture, expect that payout to drop—alive delivery increases your take and avoids penalties from the local law.

How you handle the moment matters: close fast, tackle, tie, and carry. The constabulary accepts living suspects only—drop him at the desk and collect your Silver. This is a clean, efficient run, not a brawl inside Crimson Desert’s systems.

Will you hand Salvatore over to the law and take the coin, or keep his secrets and change the story for yourself?
