ARC Raiders Swamp: How to Destroy Enemies Fast

ARC Raiders Swamp: How to Destroy Enemies Fast

I was three minutes into a solo run when a pack of ARCs ghosted out of the reeds and clipped my shields. My heart jumped — not because the fight was hard, but because the weekly trial clock was ticking. You do this wrong and the reward slips away.

I’ve run the Swamp enough to short-cut the guesswork. I’ll point you to the spots, the targets, and the kits that finish the job fast so you can get the Epic loot and maybe a blueprint.

The Swamp sits low and green in the southwest corner of Dam Battlegrounds — how to easily destroy ARC enemies in the Swamp in ARC Raiders

Head straight to the three wet pockets in the southwest quadrant of the Dam map. I mark them by the broken walkways and the half-sunken turbine; they’re small and easy to miss if you’re sprinting the map. ARCs spawn there predictably — you sit, wait, and trade damage until they die.

Spawn behavior is simple: smaller ARCs show up more often and die faster. Focus them first. The little ones are worth less individually, but they arrive in numbers and the XP stacks up — like coins in a slot machine — until you hit the three-star threshold.

How do I find ARC enemies in the Swamp?

Drop into the southwest and circle the three ponds. If nothing is present, pull back to the ridge for 30–60 seconds, then return — the spawn timer refreshes. If you’re on Steam or console, ping teammates or use quick chat to call the area; engagement tends to cluster players and therefore spawns.

Weapon and kit notes from my runs: the Anvil and Renegade do consistent damage and let you clear small ARCs without exposing yourself. Hullcracker tears through packs quickest if you want the stars fast, but treat it like a glass hammer — heavy hits, fragile in PvP. Avoid fights with other players while you’re farming; losing your kit to a griefing squad is the fastest way to waste time.

What kit is best for killing ARCs in the Swamp?

I prefer Hullcracker for speed, Renegade for balanced play, and Anvil when I plan to bait groups. Use cover, burst when they bunch, and keep an eye on the outskirts for players hunting the same stars.

The trials board shows three empty stars — how to get three stars in ARC Raiders weekly trials (April 13)

The reward feels small until you hold the Epic chest — then it matters. Those three stars pay out an Epic-level drop and sometimes a blueprint, so you want every one.

  • Get struck by lightning: Only possible during an Electromagnetic Storm event. Stand in the wide clearings at the right time and don’t sprint — you’re looking to be a target, not a shooter.
  • Damage Bastions: Bastions are heavy hitters. Knees and rear canisters are weak points; coordinate with a teammate or bait their arc to expose the back panel, then unload.
  • Search Supply Drops: Supply crates spawn across the map. Find one that hasn’t been looted and call in your resupply. If you’re on PC via Steam, use map pings to mark unused drops quickly.
  • Damage Comets: Wait for a Comet pass. Aim for the exposed core as it winds up to fire — that’s where you do critical damage.

These tasks are straightforward, but each invites competition. I’ve lost a kit to a third-party while farming ARCs more than once; treat the Swamp like a cash register — open to pickpockets. If you finish the ARC kills first, the other tasks are usually just timing and patience.
