Phasmophobia x Alan Wake Crossover Walkthrough & Tips

Phasmophobia x Alan Wake Crossover Walkthrough & Tips

I freeze while the van’s dash hums and something in the corner of the lobby flutters like a promise. You raise the lamp and a shadow peels away, leaving a tiny, ridiculous doll on the floor. That small win is the breadcrumb that opens every other door in this crossover.

There’s a lamp on the dashboard that feels like a new rule in town.

I’ll walk you through the Phasmophobia x Alan Wake event without fluff: what to do, where to go, and how the rewards line up so you don’t waste runs chasing ghosts that don’t give points.

You’ll notice the event lists four clear objectives on the event page.

There are four things that count toward finishing the Alan Wake crossover: earn community points, earn personal points, reveal Words of Power, and find Dolls and solve Doll Puzzles. Hit the first two by doing the latter two and by using the Angel Lamp to clear shadow figures across maps.

The dashboard lamp is not cosmetic—it’s primary loot.

The Angel Lamp sits on the van dashboard beside the screens. Pick it up and carry it into the map; hold your Use button when you’re within range of a shadow figure to banish it. Angel Lamp is a key that opens locked pages: banishing shadows awards event points that feed both community and personal progress.

On the maps you’ll see tiny sticky yellow arrows if you pay attention.

Words of Power require a UV Light. Follow the hidden yellow arrows with the UV on to expose circular word formations. When you shine UV at a Words of Power circle the letters scatter and you earn event points. Words of Power are confetti of letters—collecting all of them is how you claim Alan Wake’s suit cosmetics.

Small objects matter more than huge ones in this event.

Each event map hides tiny Dolls you must find and pick up. Coffee World (Camp Woodwind), Oh Deer Diner (Nell’s Diner), and Grafton Farmhouse each have three Dolls; Elderwood Palace Lodge (Bleasdale Farmhouse) has four, totalling 13 Dolls across maps. Pick them up and they’ll appear on the ground in front of Alan Wake’s desk in the lobby.

At the Dolls’ spawn site there’s a sheet of paper with a riddle. The riddle hints at the correct placement for each Doll onto drawn spots on the floor. The community is still parsing the full solution for all puzzles; for now focus on finding all Dolls so you can attempt placements and earn Saga Anderson cosmetics after solving three Doll Puzzles.

How do I complete the Alan Wake event in Phasmophobia?

Complete event tasks that award community and personal points by banishing shadow figures with the Angel Lamp, revealing Words of Power with a UV Light, and collecting Dolls to solve puzzles. Coordinate runs on Discord or stream snippets to YouTube or Twitch for communal progress—Kinetic Games designed the event so community points pool across players.

Where are the Dolls in the Alan Wake event?

Dolls are tiny and easy to miss; search corners, shelves, and behind set pieces. Each found Doll appears on the ground in front of Alan Wake’s desk in the lobby—collect them there to work the puzzle. If you’re farming fast, run Coffee World and Cauldron Lake for compact loops.

What rewards are in the Alan Wake crossover?

Rewards range from a Manifestation ID Card tied to community goals to personal cosmetics like Alan Wake’s suit and Saga Anderson’s outfit. The Angel Lamp Charm is a personal-track reward. Some items were first spotted in streams from Remedy Entertainment fans and were later verified by Kinetic Games via the event feed on Steam.

The event calendar is short and players who stall miss out.

The crossover runs from May 12 to June 2 across all platforms—three weeks total. If you want every cosmetic and to contribute to community goals, plan sessions now and use tools like Discord for team finds and Twitch clips for sharing Mr. Drippy or odd puzzle states.

Have you found a Doll placement that cracked the riddle—or spotted a hidden reward that Kinetic Games and Remedy didn’t list yet?
