Deltarune Chapter 5: All Pink Coin Locations Guide

Deltarune Chapter 5: All Pink Coin Locations Guide

My heart thudded when the fox lunged for the mushroom and I missed the slot by a single frame. I sat back, breathed, and replayed the corridor until my hands remembered the route. By the time I had nine Pink Coins, the castle felt less like a map and more like a checklist of cunning little lies.

On a rainy afternoon I timed every jump through Flower Castle — here’s the route that worked for me

I’ve played Chapter 5 enough to know where the game hides its patience-testing moments, and you’ll save time if you finish the main story first. I picked up two Pink Coins during normal progress; the rest are tucked behind puzzles, timing windows, and subtle interactions. I’ll walk you through each location in the order I collected them, and I’ll point out the traps that cost me hours so you don’t repeat them.

Where are all the Pink Coins in Deltarune Chapter 5?

Short answer: spread across Flower Castle and its connected rooms — bells, foxes, mushrooms, puzzle boxes, flowers, and platforming gauntlets. If you play on Steam or Nintendo Switch (the Chapter 5 purchase is about $10 (€9) on Steam), keep a mental map of the magic-door hubs; that portal is how you hop between areas quickly.

How many Pink Coins do you need to open the secret boss door?

You need every Pink Coin to get the key that opens the special door leading to the chapter’s secret boss. I won’t sugarcoat it: some of these require precise timing. Treat the key as the final gate — collect all nine coins and you’ll have it in hand.

Tip: follow community hubs like the Deltarune subreddit, Discord servers, and Moyens I/O or YouTube guides if you want video references for the trickier jumps.

On my second loop I built a short checklist — here’s the method to keep momentum

Use the magic door after finishing the story to move between Garden, Shrine, Blue’s room and the Second Diner quickly. I prefer clearing rooms with environmental puzzles first, then the platforming challenges; that order saved me reloads. Think of this as a scavenger run: small, repeatable tasks that stack into the final reward.

You’ll find this one near the chamber where you first fight Green and Orange. Don’t enter the fight room — take the south stairs instead. Place the first mushroom to disable spikes, then sprint to the far end, grab the second mushroom, and race the fox back to the slot. If you place it before the fox touches it, a chest opens with the Pink Coin.

Go to the Second Diner and take the left door. There’s a room with fox statues and a locked door to its left. Find five hidden foxes — four in the main room, one concealed behind paper walls — then enter the now-open room and interact with the fox inside. The chest drops a Pink Coin.

Use the Garden hub accessed via the magic door. Interact with the mysterious structure to change the terrain, then jump-dash left across a gap to a hanging bell. Strike it to get the Pink Coin — simple and quick if your timing is clean.

From the Shrine entrance, activate the stone, jump left to use leaf platforms, then hop up to the temple roof. Continue across the leafy platforms and hit the bell you find — another Pink Coin will ring into your inventory.

This coin sits in the beginner area where Flowery helps with the Floradinn. Use the water canister to create a left-side path from the scissors. Climb to the top and open the chest — you get the Pink Coin. If you’re new to the chapter, grab this on your first run through; it’s cheap insurance against future backtracking.

Select the Mysterious Puzzle area in the Castle and pass through the door you open during the story. Move past Orange’s antics, take the Second Diner door, and go left until you reach the box puzzle. Arrange the boxes exactly as shown in the screenshot above, climb to the top, hit the bell, and claim the coin.

From the front of the Second Diner, take the south stairs, cross the café bridge, and pass through the paper walls. Keep close to the wall until you reach upward stairs; at the top is a chest with the Pink Coin. This one is peace-of-mind — once it’s in your inventory, that route becomes a lot less stressful.

Blue’s room contains a brutal vertical flower puzzle. Use the flowers to bounce: for the first level combine bottom-left and top flowers, then for the second use all three, and for the top you must land a perfect strike sequence: bottom trio, middle, then top. Keep calm; spamming will kill your rhythm. Treat this section as if you’re threading a needle — precision over panic.

Pink Coin 9

Exit Blue’s room and re-enter through the Blue Door, then take the left-down stairs and trigger the floor mechanism. Time your small jumps through the shuriken gauntlet — big jumps will get you hit or reset your progress. Reach the end and ring the final bell to collect the last Pink Coin. At this point the secret key will be within reach and the castle’s smaller secrets start to arrange themselves like a Swiss watch.

On the bus home I counted my mistakes — quick troubleshooting and community resources

If a coin won’t spawn, reload a save or return via the magic door; some triggers reset unless you active certain structures in order. For visual walkthroughs, YouTube creators and the Deltarune Discord have short clips for the platforming parts. If you prefer written walkthroughs, Moyens I/O and Reddit threads mirror many of the screenshots used here.

Collecting every Pink Coin leads to the key that opens the chapter’s secret boss door — you’ll know you’ve got them all when the final bell is struck and the inventory reads nine. After that, will you take the slower, patient route or the speedrun line that makes the game leer back at you?
