The wind snagged my parachute as I hit the southern floaters. A faint blue vein in the rock pulsed like a heartbeat in the dark. I realized then how quickly one missed resource can turn a routine run into a costly detour.
At dawn Sakurajima’s coastal breeze smells of resin: All rare resources in Palworld 1.0 and how to find them
I mapped the new drops across Sunreach and the World Tree so you won’t waste hours wandering. I’ll tell you where each rare item appears, which tool or fight will give it to you, and the small route choices that save time. The screenshots are from Moyens I/O; I verified locations on the Steam build patched to 1.0.
Where do I find Soralite in Palworld 1.0?

Soralite is a blue ore found on the floating islands to the south of the main map. You won’t mine it with a basic axe: the Plasma Multicutter is required (research it in the Technology tab). When you spot the blue seams, aim the Multicutter at the rock until it breaks—each node yields a few chunks that feed into advanced tech recipes. On Steam, players have concentrated farming routes on the nearest floaters to minimize travel time.

Hardwood

Hardwood is the denser variant of regular wood and appears in older biomes as well as new ones. Sakurajima is your friend if you haven’t reached Sunreach or the World Tree yet—trees with the darker bark drop Hardwood commonly. If you can visit Sunreach, the spawn density there makes for faster collection runs.
World Tree Holy Water

Holy Water is new and concentrated in the World Tree biome. You pick up a small quantity on your first approach to the area; after that, Pals that spawn there drop extra vials when defeated. Those vials feed several endgame recipes tied to the World Tree’s higher-tier tech—farm while you clear local spawns to stack supply without extra runs.
How do I farm Paloxite effectively?

Paloxite is found only in the World Tree area. Head east until you hit the Dusty Ravine Watchtower—nodes glow pink there. You need the Plasma Multicutter to break the deposits; run a loop that hits each glowing node and returns to a camp or transport point to drop off stacks. Pocketpair players on Steam forums have shared waypoint pins for the densest node clusters.
Mythical Wood

The forest south of Dusty Ravine Watchtower is where Mythical Wood spawns. Trees there drop it reliably, and sometimes you’ll find single-item pickups along the path. Walk the main trail and sweep side groves—these trunks are probably the best source if you need wood for advanced builds. The trees rise like cathedral pillars, making them easy to spot from a short distance.
Ancient Civilization Core

Ancient Civilization Core drops from boss fights and is needed for crafting Ancient Technology gear. The fastest path is to push your level and clear the higher-difficulty bosses: they drop cores reliably. If you’re running co-op on Steam, coordinate who takes agro and who grabs cores—shared loot makes farming far more efficient. Moyens I/O’s boss screenshots and Pocketpair patch notes list which bosses are most likely to yield multiple cores per fight.
If you had to prioritize one resource on your next run, which would you go after—Soralite for tech, Paloxite for upgrades, or cores from boss fights that change the late game?
