2AM members appeared in a video uploaded on the YouTube channel “Vivo TV” on Oct 22nd.
In the video, Jo Kwon addressed his past statement about the group having a no-dating rule before their disbandment, saying, “Whenever there’s a dating rumor involving idols these days, that clip still resurfaces. At the time, we were in our first year of debut, and I was brainwashed by (Park) Jin Young. I had this strong feeling that I shouldn’t date because of everything we went through to debut.” When Lim Seulong asked “So, you didn’t date at all back then?“, Jo Kwon replied, “Well, during that time, I experienced both love and breakups.”
Jo Kwon also revealed, “As time passed and Sunye got married, and I entered my late 20s, I had my first relationship at 27. It was quite late.”
When Song Eun Yi asked “Did you guys share your relationships with each other?“, Jo Kwon teased Jeong Jinwoon, “I bet he dated secretly, little by little. He was probably the most secretive about it.” Jeong Jinwoon, feeling wronged, responded, “No, I didn’t! My relationships were public nationwide. Coincidentally, they got revealed (by others), but I had no intention of hiding them.” Jeong Jinwoon had previously been in public relationships with Wonder Girls’ Yeeun and Nine Muses’ Kyungri.
