So, what are we all watching this week?
What kept you reaching for more (or agonizing when there was no more), and what made you want to throw your remote through the screen? Time to weigh in…

DNA Lover: Wow, this was even more absurb than I was expecting, and so shamelessly cheesy. They have to know, right? Still, after Episode 1, I feel semi thankful that dramas like this still exist. It reminds me of the old days, when I would slog through through objectively bad dramas because of one face or one plot arc or one love line that I was there for. In this case, that would unabashedly be Lee Tae-hwan and his buff, kind, sweetheart character. Could they set up a more painful second lead situation if they tried?

Love Next Door: I came for the cast, stayed for the “we bicker like crazy but we’ll always have each other’s backs when it matters” chemistry between the leads, and then got sucker punched by the all-too-relatable emotions in episode 2. In other words, I’m all in! Also, wasn’t it just last week I was wishing for a likable Yoon Ji-on character? Has my wish already been granted? (*crosses fingers and knocks on wood just in case*)
