On Sep 6th, Kwak Shi-yang wrote, “Yes, that’s right. I’m sorry. Cheon Hwan-seo is a bad guy.” He continued, “Please only judge based on my acting. Go ‘Good Partner’! I did it because I was asked to.

Kwak Shi-yang appeared in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘Good Partner‘ on Sep 6th and 7th, playing Cheon Hwan-seo, the chairman of the Cheon Medical Foundation. He portrayed a domestic violence husband who tortured and assaulted his wife, leading to her death, which was shocking to viewers.

Previously, Ji Seung-hyun, who also played an unfaithful husband, had issued a public apology video. He said, “I am truly sorry. First, I extend my sincere apologies to Cha Eun-kyung, who was hurt by my infidelity in the drama. When I say ‘sincere,’ I mean deeply sincere.”

He continued, “I also offer my heartfelt apologies to Choi Sa-ra, my partner in the drama’s infidelity. I committed the unforgivable act of ‘living a double life.’

Lastly, Ji Seung-hyun added, “I am also sorry to the viewers. I understand that there have been strong reactions because of my portrayal, and some have said they feel like they’re going to choke. I apologize for that as well.
