It’s actress Keum Sae-rok, who revealed that she sent a letter to J.Y. Park during her high school days.

In a past TV appearance, Keum Sae-rok said, “I wrote a letter to J.Y. Park when I was a student.”

She explained, “I thought I was the best dancer in the world. I was full of confidence, and when I saw Wonder Girls during high school days, I thought my dream was Wonder Girls. So I wrote a letter to PD J.Y. Park saying, ‘I need to become a Wonder Girls member right now. That’s where I need to be.’

However, she admitted that J.Y. Park didn’t acknowledge her. She added, “I wanted it so much, but he didn’t accept me.

Meanwhile, Keum Sae-rok made her debut in the 2015 film “The Silenced”. Following that, she had minor roles in well-known films such as “Assassination”, “The Age of Shadows”, “The Last Princess” and “Love, Lies”. She rose to fame thanks to the film “Believer”, cementing her status as a rising star in the Korean film industry.

She also captured the hearts of TV viewers with her roles in dramas like “Marry Me Now”, “The Fiery Priest”, “Class of Lies” and “Youth of May”.

Aside from acting, Keum Sae-rok received praise for her appearances on variety shows. On “Baek Jong-won’s Alley Restaurant”, she showcased her lively hosting skills, earning the nickname “Keum Sae-briefing”.

Currently, Keum Sae-rok is starring in KBS 2TV’s “Iron Family”, where her delicate emotional acting has been well received. She plays the role of Darim, a visually impaired woman who decides to forgo eye surgery to avoid causing conflict within her family, delivering a realistic performance that oscillates between hope and despair.
