KATSEYE’s Lara is recently a hot topic of discussion as netizens are suspecting her of being an open lesbian. In particular, fans have pulled up past “receipts” of the female idol allegedly confirming that she is attracted to women.
To specify, in a TikTok comment from 2024, when another user asked Lara if she liked women, to which the female idol replied, “Yeaaaa I do.”
In addition, she previously shared a TikTok about “checking out” women, further fueling suspicions about her preference for the same gender.
The female idol was also spotted attending pride events (events centered around the LGBTQ+ community) with various evidence in the form of images and videos, suggesting that she may be a member of this community.
As these past instances re-emerged, many fans insisted that Lara has been “openly queer” for years, calling her nicknames like “gay girl” and “girl kisser”.
However, other fans argued that the aforementioned comments and updates were made when Lara was only 14 years old, and thus cannot be said to be definitive. According to these fans, it is inappropriate to assume Lara’s sexuality based on evidence from ages ago, especially when the female idol never made any further statements as she grew up.
