Main take from the last poll’s results: I need to make these prompts harder. A whopping 98% of you picked the option to have your most hated drama remade into a hit reboot, while only four — less than a handful! — of you opted to have your favorite drama wiped from existence. For the majority, having your least favorite K-drama get a reboot would have little to no affect on your perception of the current dramaland landscape; whereas, you’d deeply feel the loss of your favorite K-drama.
According to @elinor, though, a K-drama “no matter how beloved…could be replaced by another favorite on another day,” and, as one of the few who chose sacrifice their favorite K-drama, she decided that losing her current favorite was preferable to having her least favorite drama get a hit reboot. Even if she doesn’t watch it, she won’t be able to avoid it on social media and Dramabeans, and the unavoidable discussion would be enough to drive her to drink. So for the sake of Elinor’s liver, let’s all hope her least favorite K-drama never gets a reboot.
