Netflix’s series “Sweet Home” Season 3 released still cuts that offer a glimpse into the fierce battle of the survivors.
First, a still cut featuring Hyun-soo (Song Kang) with a fierce gaze as he heads somewhere with his burning wings catches the eye. After the monstrous transformation crisis, Hyun-soo, who lost his loved ones and was consumed by monsters, raises curiosity about whether he will regain his human self and protect everyone this season. Sang-wook (Lee Jin-wook) heightens the tension as he resorts to any means to gain more power and a perfect body. Having escaped the laboratory and headed to the stadium, Sang-wook is set to create chaos and division among the survivors, showcasing his unique presence. Eun-hyuk (Lee Do-hyun), who shocked everyone by transforming into a monster in Season 2, is seen again in human form, sparking expectations for his role amidst mixed feelings of guilt, responsibility and maternal love in Season 3.
Eun-yoo (Go Min-si) refuses to give up on those around her and strives to survive together, even in desperate situations. Especially, Eun-yoo is set to present a new narrative as she miraculously reunites with her long-lost brother Eun-hyuk. The still cut of Eun-yoo and Eun-hyuk facing each other hints at the subtly changed dynamic between them, increasing curiosity about Eun-hyuk’s return.
The return of Eun-hyuk, believed to be dead, with a different appearance stimulates interest in what the birth of the new human race will mean for the monstrous transformation crisis. The still of Chan-young (Jinyoung) in a combat stance amidst flames suggests his brave nature, willing to risk his life to save the survivors. His continued role with unwavering righteousness in the transformed world heightens curiosity.
Season 2, which expanded the worldview by highlighting humans living amidst the prolonged monstrous crisis following the birth of monsters from desires in Season 1, faced a lot of criticism. Attention is on whether Season 3 can reverse the atmosphere.
