Here’s a strange case for you — and I wonder if I’m the only one who faces this (please say no). This is the scenario: there is an upcoming drama that I’m really excited for, and the premiere is oh-so-very on my calendar. But, when the drama finally drops, my desire to tune in has utterly vanished. For no reason.
Sometimes, I’ll wind up not watching the drama at all (example: Doctor Slump); sometimes I’ll force-watch the first episode and then give in to my malaise and pull a quick-drop (sadly, this happened with Castaway Diva despite having every reason to watch).
Occasionally I’ll return to these dramas at a later time, but it’s never with the same fervor as when I first awaited them.
Are you ever pumped for an upcoming drama only to utterly lose your interest, for no discernible reason, right when it premieres? What is this strange phenomenon?
