So, what are we all watching this week?
What kept you reaching for more (or agonizing when there was no more), and what made you want to throw your remote through the screen? Time to weigh in…

Destined With You: I was a little iffy with this one — it was way more creepy fantasy-y than I was expecting — but by the end of Episode 2 I was won over. Jo Boa is just delightful here as the quintessential downtrodden K-drama heroine full of gumption, and I will never get tired of this archetype. As for the rest, I like the setup a lot, actually, and it feels like there’s a lot of space for a fun plot to unfold. (It’s hard to watch the current crappiness level of Hong-jo’s co-workers, though, since they are three actors I love so much, but methinks they’ll turn around.)

Destined With You: I like this drama way more than I thought I would. It’s a nice mix of creepy mystery and cute encounters. Plus, Rowoon: in suits, looking somber, getting semi-seduced by a bloodied hand. I still don’t totally get what’s going on but I like that about it. And whatever magic the lighting is working has everyone looking shiny and sparkly amidst the darkness. I can already tell I’m in this one for the long haul.
