Lee Jong-won Sparks Romance with Kim Se-jung in Brewing Project

Raise your glasses and get ready to cheer with Kim Se-jung (The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch) and Lee Jong-won (Bad Memory Eraser) in ENA’s upcoming romantic comedy Brewing Love.

The newest trailer opens with the queen of liquor sales Chae Yong-joo (Kim Se-jung) leading her team in a chant. She is an exuberant, dedicated, and passionate worker who faces any challenge with gusto, and her next task is recruiting brewmaster Yoo Min-joo (Lee Jong-won).

Introduced with a twinkling sound effect, Min-joo pours out a glass of beer, and Baek Sung-chul (Tell Me That You Love Me) stares at his face, enthralled by his good looks. Unlike Yong-joo, Min-joo is prickly, distant, and sensitive. His catchphrase is “block” as he keeps people an arm’s length away, but to his dismay, they continue invading his space.

Out of these pesky meddlers, Yong-joo is the most persistent as she chases after him and slams her hands against his car window. She pops up everywhere Min-joo goes and even suggests coming to work at his place starting tomorrow. Min-joo stomps his feet in frustration as he thinks of Yong-joo, but she laughs heartily, seemingly unaware of his distress.

The show, though, would not be a rom-com if our hero stayed angry for too long, and as Yong-joo trips over a rake, Min-joo instinctively catches her. Looking at her smiling face, his heart beats faster, and someone comments that opposites attract. When Yong-joo asks him why he hates her so much, he does not answer, and as they get closer, he wonders why he cannot control himself whenever he sees her. It seems the cold brewmaster may be warming up to our bubbly saleswoman.

Directed by Park Sun-ho (Business Proposal) with scripts written by Lee Jung-shin, ENA’s Brewing Love is slated for twelve episodes and premieres November 4 in the Monday-Tuesday slot.
