Meet Gambit: The New Strategist

Gambit kicks off this season as the first new hero. He uses playing cards to heal allies, dispel negative effects, deal damage, and even apply anti-heal. Gambit’s staff enhances his mobility and provides defensive capabilities. His Ultimate ability allows him to empower teammates’ jumps and attacks with charged Ace cards.

Introducing a New Game Mode

Prepare yourself for Conquest (Annihilation), a massive 18-vs-18 battle mode on the Grand Garden map. This exciting update goes live on November 27.

    • The Thing

    • Peni Parker: Teammates can now heal while in her webs.
    • Captain America: Teammates’ Ultimate abilities will charge faster.
  • Duelist buffs:
    • Wolverine: Enhanced lethality against tanks.
    • Spider-Man: Smoother, more consistent combos.

    • Loki
    • Cloak & Dagger: Slightly improved survivability.

New Team-Up Abilities

  • Explosive Entanglement:
    • Gambit and Magneto: Replaces Magneto’s attack with a greatsword projectile.
  • Sword of Duality:
    • Cloak & Dagger and Hawkeye: Empowers Hawkeye’s katana with light and dark energy.
  • Blade of Khonshu:
    • Moon Knight and Blade: Allows Blade to dash and execute multiple strikes.

Placement Matches Revamped

Starting ranks in Competitive Mode will now be established through 10 placement matches each season, influenced by your previous rank. Players can queue with up to six friends, although only two can play at the same time if anyone is ranked Celestial, Eternity, or Top 500.
