Easiest Way to Farm Pyroxene in Dynasty Warriors Origins

The best place to farm Pyroxene is the Ji Province. In Chapter 1, you can use the Liyang Port-Cangting Port route to refresh the spawns (moving provinces refreshes Pyroxene spots). In Chapter 2, you’ll also have You Province Pyroxene spawn. From Chapter 3 onwards, you’ll be able to collect Ji, You, and Qing province spawns for a total of 4 Pyroxene every 10-15 seconds.

Other Ways to Get Pyroxene

Farming world map Pyroxene spawns isn’t the only way to get Pyroxene in Dynasty Warriors Origins. Instead, you can get it for leveling up province Peace (+5 Pyroxene per level), from letters, collecting Old Coins, skirmishes (non-story battles), and some missions.

How to Use Pyroxene in Dynasty Warriors Origins – Gem Crafting

To use Pyroxene in DWO, you’ll need to visit an Inn (in a town or camp). Then, select Create Gems, and pick the number of Pyroxene you want to consume. Lastly, click on the Pyroxene section to create the gems. There are five gems you can get, and the selection is random. If you get a duplicate gem, its level will be upgraded. As you progress in DWO, you’ll also unlock Satisfying Results (craft more gems from 1 Pyroxene) and Gem Creation – Eyes of the Sacred Bird (narrow down the randomness to only three different gems). These will activate at random, and in general, it won’t affect the gem level balance in the long run. They’ll all stay fairly equal throughout the game.

What is the Best Gem to Use?

Generally, the best gem to use in Dynasty Warriors Origins is the Oblivion Gem. The extra range is especially useful for short-range weapons such as the Gauntlets. However, the Ascendence gem also gains value deeper into the end-game, and the Wellspring gem can be useful if you’re playing on the Hero difficulty.
