According to Nielsen Korea, the tvN fantasy youth drama Twinkling Watermelon premiered with ratings of 3.14% (nationwide) and 3.50% (metropolitan).
Twinkling Watermelon is the story of Eun Gyeol, a young CODA (child of deaf adult) boy blessed with extraordinary musical talent, who finds himself transported back in time to the year 1995. There, he forms a band with none other than his own father, Yi Chan, and the young people he meets there.
The K-drama stars Ryeoun, Choi Hyun Wook, Seol In Ah, and Shin Eun Soo in the lead roles.
