Daebak Realty Holds First Script Reading with Jang Nara and Jung Yong-hwa

New stills have been released for KBS’s upcoming supernatural drama Daebak Realty, featuring the cast and crew at the first script reading.

The drama stars Jang Nara (Oh My Baby) as real estate agent and exorcist extraordinaire Hong Ji-ah. Intelligent and hot-tempered, she is the head of the titular Daebak Realty business.

Through circumstances not yet known to us, she ends up partnering with Jung Yong-hwa (The Package). Taking on the role of con artist Oh In-bum, his go-to scam is tricking property buyers into performing exorcisms on supposedly haunted properties to allay their fears and pocket the cash.

Together, the two track down haunted real estate properties to expel vindictive ghosts and poltergeists, and sell the places for a pretty penny afterwards. But the two also start helping the spirits resolve unfinished businesses and regrets. Although there is genre is supernatural, the story deals with relatable, true-to-life issues.

Supporting cast who were also at the reading include Kang Mal-geum (Mouse), Kang Hong-seok (The King: Eternal Monarch), Ahn Gil-kang (Tale of the Nine Tailed), and Heo Dong-won (When the Camellia Blooms) among others.

Directing for the drama is PD Park Jin-seok (School 2017, Naked Fireman), and scripts will be written by a team of writers: Lee Young-hwa, Jung Yeon-seo, and screenwriter Ha Soo-jin (How to Use Guys with Secret Tips).

Daebak Realty is currently set to premiere next month on April 14, and will be airing Wednesdays and Thursdays on KBS.
