One of the essential items required to reach the deeper parts of the Volkanyo island in Dig It is to use the keys. These Keys act as tickets for you to access deeper parts like Devil’s Pit and beyond. So, if you don’t know how to get the Molten or Ancient Key, here is a quick guide.
How to get the Molten Key in Dig It
The Molten Key is a diggable item in Dig It, which means you can get this item only by digging around the bottom central parts of the Volkanyo islands, especially right before the entrance of the lift that takes you down to the bottom. If you cannot understand the area I am referring to, please check the featured image and use the GO neon symbol for reference. Here, you have to dig for the Molten Key like any other item in the game, using your best Shovel. I recommend using the Solar Shovel or a Megalodon Shovel to make the process much quicker. Once you get it, you can use it to reach the Devil’s Pit through the Elevator.
How to get the Ancient Key in Dig It
For the Ancient Key, you have to dig near the left side of the Devil’s Pit after crossing the bridge where you can find the Ancient Shovel in the game. You can only cross this after using the Fire Resistance, which can be made after completing the quest offered by the Brewton NPC on the corner of the Devil’s Pit. To finish his quest, you must offer him x1 Pepper, x1 Lava Flower, x1 Crystal, x1 Lava Slime & x1 Lava Bucket. After giving the ingredients, he will quickly make the Fire Resistance. Consuming this potion will provide resistance against devilish fire for 30 minutes. Now, cross the bridge and dig on the other end to get the Ancient Key in Dig It. I suggest using the exact Solar or Megalodon Shovel and digging near the various NPCs around the Ancient Shovel buy area. Once you get the Ancient Key, you can use it to open the Ancient Trials inside Volkanyo.
