It’s been so long since we had a romance-melo to look forward to, and When I Was the Most Beautiful is set to be a nice addition to our current roster of thrillers and rom-coms. Im Soo-hyang, Ji-soo, and Ha Suk-jin are at the center of the story, and they’re a love triangle to end all love triangles. Our two male leads are brothers who both find themselves falling in love with Im Soo-hyang. Ji-soo is the first to meet Im Soo-hyang and his puppy love quickly turns into full-blown devotion and he’s heartbroken to discover that Im and his big brother have fallen in love. Though happiness seems to be within Im Soo-hyang’s reach, Fate tells her not so fast, and tragedy occurs once again in her life. I’m excited about the cast, but leery about the fact that Im Soo-hyang is going to be in a love triangle with someone she meets in school — where she’s his teacher. But, since the actors are close in age, they may pull it off in a non-creepy way (here’s hoping at least).
