As reported by TV Guide, the voice providing this unexpected comfort is none other than Patrick Fabian, Seehorn’s co-star from Better Call Saul. Remarkably, Seehorn was kept in the dark about his appearance until she was filming, but she managed to maintain her composure and deliver her lines smoothly. “If you had a psychologist study my facial muscles, you’d probably see my surprise,” Seehorn joked.
Gilligan, who also created Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, has built an interconnected universe set in Albuquerque, yet Pluribus isn’t officially linked to its predecessors. This cameo, however, serves as a fun nod to devoted fans, providing a lighthearted connection to Seehorn’s earlier work.
Reflecting on Fabian’s choice, Seehorn noted, “Even apart from being an Easter egg from Better Call Saul, Patrick’s voice is incredibly soothing. It’s no wonder they wanted him for the message.”
