So, what are we all watching this week?
What kept you reaching for more (or agonizing when there was no more), and what made you want to throw your remote through the screen? Time to weigh in…

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha: Well, we have certainly reached that point in the story, but maybe because all our “mystery” and backstory have been delayed so long, we’ll have an exciting finale week to look forward to? I didn’t come this far to give up now. I am crossing fingers for an arc and resolution with Chief Hong that fits, that works, and that shreds our emotions. This drama hasn’t made me feel much, so I’d like them to show me what they’ve got in the final week. And failing that, I’ll take more emoting from Kim Sun-ho, thanks.

Hometown: I love a good cult story, so I got way more invested once we started delving into that aspect. Things are slowly starting to tie together, but there are still so many questions. I’m always impressed by Han Ye-ri and her ability to make her characters so easy to connect with and root for. Jung-hyun, for me, is the emotional core of this drama.
Dal-li and Gamjatang: Every episode makes me love Dal-li more with her strength and maturity, and I’ve really warmed up to Moo-hak who is so genuine. I loved seeing Moo-hak put Tae-jin in his place because that man gets on my last nerve. Tae-jin acts entitled to Dal-li, as if he can just acquire her at will after discarding her when it suited him. He treats her like a child who needs his guidance and care, and it’s gross.
Reflection of You: Well, that certainly started with a bang, didn’t it? I only had time to watch the first episode, but I was gripped from the start. It was more intense than I expected, and I loved the atmosphere. I’m already super curious about the relationship between Hae-won and Hee-joo, and I’m ready for all the secrets coming our way.

Police University: I’m still behind on this (episode 12…) but still very much enjoying it and determined to finish! So I’m trying not to start anything new until I do finish it. I do find the overly dramatic, in-your-face pushing of “which of these three people is the mole???!?” to be, well, overly dramatic. And yet, even that is kind of fun in its own way, and the drawing point of the show for me continues to be the students, especially Sun-ho and Kang-hee. But you know what I didn’t find very dramatic at all? That super slow-mo Truck of Doom. Normally those shake me up at least a tiny bit, but not this one for some reason.
