Oh Yeon-seo (Hwayugi) is the picture of a passionate gym teacher in the new stills released by the People With Flaws team. In this upcoming drama, she plays a woman who grew up the sister to exceedingly handsome brothers, and that childhood left her with a strong disgust for pretty men. Thus, unlike a lot of women, her ideal man is utterly ordinary looking.
On the other hand, Ahn Jae-hyun (Reunited Worlds) plays a man who is obsessed with his looks. When these two meet, prejudices fly and the bickering begins, but as they slowly come to know each other, the misunderstandings melt away into a true love.
Let me just say that Oh Yeon-seo looks absolutely fantastic here, and her tendency to choose outgoing, strong characters seems to be a great fit for her. The topic of outer appearances is also very interesting especially with the current Korean standards of beauty, and I hope this drama gives us a new perspective about it like My ID is Gangnam Beauty did for us last year.
MBC Wednesday-Thursday drama People With Flaws begins airing in November.
