As December rolls around, it’s that time of year for reflection and recaps, similar to Spotify Wrapped or YouTube’s year-in-review features. Discord has joined the trend with the launch of the Discord Checkpoint for 2025. This new feature allows users to look back on their interactions and activities throughout the year, showcasing all the data Discord has collected since January 1st, 2025.
Curious about how to check your Discord Checkpoint? Let’s dive in.
What Is Discord Checkpoint?
Discord Checkpoint offers a personalized recap similar to Spotify Wrapped. If you enabled data collection on your account, Discord has been monitoring your activity, which can include your message count, voice chat hours, and more. This is a fantastic way to see how you engaged with the platform throughout the year.
However, if you’ve opted out of data collection, like I did, you might find the Checkpoint unavailable for you. Specifically, if you have the option “Use data to personalize my Discord experience” toggled off in your settings, you won’t be able to see your personalized data.
How to View Your Discord Checkpoint
To access your Discord Checkpoint, click the flag icon in the top right corner of your Discord application on desktop, just left of the Inbox button. Alternatively, it should pop up when you first open Discord, displaying a prompt similar to the image below:
Currently, Discord Checkpoint is not available on mobile or console. When it becomes available, you can find it by clicking on your profile icon and tapping the Checkpoint banner that appears. However, due to ongoing issues, it may take a while for the feature to appear on your mobile app.
If you don’t see it right away, you can try restarting the mobile app. Keep in mind that on the day of its launch, December 4th, Discord mentioned the feature was “temporarily disabled.”

How do I make sure my Discord Checkpoint displays correctly?
Make sure the data collection option is enabled in the settings. If it’s off, your activity won’t be tracked, and you’ll miss out on the Checkpoint.
Is my data safe with Discord Checkpoint?
Yes, Discord adheres to strict privacy guidelines when collecting and displaying user data to ensure your information remains secure.
Can I view my Discord Checkpoint from my phone?
Currently, the feature is not available on mobile, but it will likely be added in the near future. Keep your app updated for new announcements.
What if I disabled data tracking this year? Can I still access my Checkpoint?
No, if you disabled data tracking earlier, you won’t be able to access your Checkpoint retroactively, even if you re-enable tracking now.
