You need two things before you leap: the Crystal Cove quest unlocked and the Mysterious Songstress flagged. Go into Fisch’s underground music venue and talk to the Songstress standing by the drums — hand over a DJ Spinopus to start the initial quest. That opens the path to the dove quest.
Once you talk to her again she sends you to the top of the highest peak on the island. Use your Fisch GPS and head to coordinates 620, 327, -2055. There you will find the ring chain that will launch you toward the new island, Above the Clouds.
- Stand on the cliff, open your glider, and line up with the first ring.
- Jump and thread each ring; the chain is a highway in the sky that boosts your speed if you keep it tight.
- Watch the arrows on your right-hand HUD — they’ll correct a sloppy line faster than you can.
- If you miss a ring, bail and reset at the top; the window for a clean run is narrow but repeatable.
How to fish above the clouds in Fisch?
Short answer: bring a rod with reel length over 150 studs. That usually means enchanting a rod with the Long enchant before you fly out. Without 150+ reel length your bob simply won’t reach the cloud-water.

Observation: good runs are repeatable. When wind, timing, and your rod line up, you’ll feel it in how the glider holds speed.
To get a heavenly mutated Harmonic Dove you must fish with Heaven’s Rod. Start by putting the Long enchant on your rod so your reel exceeds 150 studs; without that the Heaven’s Rod can’t reach the spawn points.

The base Harmonic Dove has a 1/16 drop rate, so it’s rare but tractable if you minimize wasted flights. Once you’re in Above the Clouds, toss, watch your float, and fight only the fish that show musical cues.
Why is the Harmonic Dove required?
The Songstress wants a heavenly Harmonic Dove because it’s the quest linchpin that hands you a unique reward: the Pinion’s Aria Rod. Think of the dove as a tuning fork for the questline — hand it over and the music changes.
Pinion’s Aria Rod stats on reward: Lure Speed 142%, Luck 242%, Control 0, Resilience 4.2%, Max Kg infinite. When you first receive it there’s a Restriction enchant that blocks Fisch enchantments; finish the Songstress final quest and that restriction drops away so you can fully customize the rod.
I recommend using small practice runs to refine your ring line before you try for the heavenly mutation. Save the long flights for when weather and time match the dove’s preferences; that raises your effective rate without changing the raw odds.
