All Forgotten Temple Rune Locations in Fisch
The Forgotten Temple, also known as the Lost Temple, is located beneath Jungle Island in Fisch. Follow these coordinates to reach it: -3080, 140, -1125. To access the Lost Temple, venture past the Spear Crafting area and cross the bridge. Ascend the ledge, walk right towards a small cliff, and interact with a rope by pressing the ‘E’ key to enter the temple.
In the temple maze, a map will shine on the ground when you enter. Behind you, you’ll encounter a Jungle Adventurer NPC. Speak to her first to obtain the Temple Eye, which allows you to return to the Temple Gate checkpoint whenever you face difficulty solving the puzzles.
Refer to the map below, traverse each room in sequence, and tackle the puzzles to collect the necessary Runes to open the Lost Temple’s gates.
1. Glyph Rune (Room I)
- Coordinates: -5237, -1757, -9622
The first room, located at the bottom-right corner of the map, houses the Glyph Rune. To access it, you’ll need to navigate three rows of stepping stones in the correct order. The sequence is as follows: Triangle, Square, Square, Triangle, Circle, Triangle, Square, Triangle, Circle. Successfully completing this will reward you with the Glyph Rune and a Poisonous Spearhead.
2. Toxic Rune (Room II)
- Coordinates: -4612, -1757, -10170
The Toxic Rune is located in the second room, in the top-left corner of the map. Approach a movable gate marked with etchings. Position yourself close, hold either W+A or W+D to unlock the door, and enter. Complete the parkour quickly, as toxic water fills the room. Reach the top to claim the Toxic Core and the Toxic Rune.
3. Spike Rune (Room III)
- Coordinates: -5404, -1759, -10229
The third room, located at the bottom-left of the Lost Temple, is a straightforward maze. Carefully navigate around spikes that will take you out instantly. Follow these directions to reach the prize: straight, right, left, right (continue), left, left, right, left, straight, left, right, right, left, right, and finally straight to collect the Barbed Spearhead and the Spiked Rune.
4. Vine Rune (Room IV)
- Coordinates:-5174, -1757, -10349
The fourth room, positioned on the far left of the map, presents a unique challenge with vines hanging from the ceiling. Avoid interacting with them, as they are deadly. Instead, navigate directly to the large tree and climb it. Utilize your Advanced Glider or jump off the rear to land on an invisible surface, allowing you to claim the Vine Rune and Vine Line from the center of the room.
5. Water Rune (Room V)
- Coordinates: -4851, -1759, -9550
The final room features a water-filled space, presenting your last challenge. You can’t simply swim across; navigating the maze etched on the ceiling is the key. Align any horizontal path with your screen’s edge and keep your mouse centered as you move. Turning only when necessary will guide you to the end where you can secure the Murky Thread and the Water Rune.
How to Open Forgotten Temple Door to Get to Mossjaw Rest in Fisch
With all Runes collected, use the Temple Eye to return to the Gate. You might have noticed colored pedestals beside the enormous door.
If the Forgotten Temple Gate eludes you, proceed to the opposite end of the fourth room path and place the Runes in their respective slots:
- Light Grey Rune (Left side, Left): Glyph Rune
- Dark Grey Pedestal (Left side, Middle): Spiked Rune
- Light Green (Left Side, Right): Toxic Rune
- Dark Green Pedestal (Right Side): Vine Rune
- Blue Pedestal (Right Side): Water Rune
The moment the fifth Rune is positioned correctly, the colossal door will swing open, granting you access to the Mossjaw Rest. Enter, descend the steps, and before you lies a vast pool.
This pool contains creatures from the Lost Jungle’s bestiary, and importantly, you can only fish for the exotic and secret Mossjaw within the Mossjaw Rest. Here, both the exotic Mossjaw and the secret Elder Mossjaw await your line, bringing an added thrill to this adventure.
