Upon reaching Sunstone Island, you’ll notice that Merlin’s shop has seen better days. Interact with him to initiate the quest. It turns out that Merlin accidentally shattered his Magic Orb and needs your help to collect Magic Shards to restore it.

Where to Find Shards in Fisch
Shards spawn within the Sunstone Rifts found throughout Sunstone Island. Keep an eye out; they can be nestled atop the island’s heights or even scattered in the sandy areas upon your arrival.
Once you locate a Sunstone Rift, step inside! You will have a limited time to navigate through a parkour challenge to find the Shard atop the rocks. Be cautious—falling into the water means you’ll be kicked out of the Rift.
To maximize your chances, consider heading to the right side of the Rift and scaling the central pillar via the stair-like structures. Once you spot a shard, jump and glide onto it to collect it. Remember, you won’t be able to revisit a Rift after exiting.
How to Give Shards to Merlin in Fisch
With your Shard in hand, it’s time to head back to Merlin to claim your rewards. Just engage in conversation and select the “I have a Shard for you” dialogue option. Each Shard you give him will net you rewards.
