The desert wind howled, carrying whispers of ancient curses and forgotten gods. Oded Fehr stared at his phone, a knot forming in his stomach. Another day, another rumor about The Mummy 4—and still no call. Get ready for a rollercoaster.

Primitive War 2
The smell of napalm and prehistoric dread lingers in the air. Primitive War, the surprise hit that pitted soldiers against dinosaurs during the Vietnam War, is getting a sequel. According to Variety, the new film promises a “darker, more intense escalation,” and “more grounded war epic.” Expect a U.S. platoon plunged into chaos, battling rival predators and uncovering “secret Cold War agendas.” The stakes? Nothing less than survival itself.
Dragon Cursed
Imagine a world where dragons aren’t just myth—they’re the enemy. Deadline reports that Amazon MGM Studios has snapped up the rights to Elise Kova’s Dragon Cursed. The story plunges into a desperate stronghold where teens face deadly trials to become dragon hunters. A young woman hiding a dangerous secret enters the fray, placing herself at the mercy of a watchful enforcer. Will her secret doom her, or give her the strength to survive?
The Mummy 4
The sands of time keep shifting, but some things remain stubbornly buried. In a recent interview with Screen Rant, Oded Fehr (Ardeth Bay himself) revealed that he hasn’t received the call to reprise his iconic role in the upcoming fourth Mummy film. “I have no idea,” Fehr confessed. “I haven’t been contacted… I’m hoping it happens. I’m hoping I get to be in it.”
I gotta tell you, man, I’m so excited that you’re excited. I have no idea. I haven’t been contacted. I don’t know anything about it. I know that the internet has been saying it as though it exists and it’s a done deal, but haven’t heard anything about it. So I’m hoping it happens. I’m hoping I get to be in it. But there’s nothing I can tell you about it.
I agree. I hope so. I hope that happens. I can tell you that I love The Mummy. It’s made me into a working actor. I love the actors on it. I’ve gotten to see a few of them in the last couple of years, and I hope it happens, but I have not been contacted.
Will Brendan Fraser be in The Mummy 4?
While Oded Fehr’s return remains uncertain, the question of Brendan Fraser’s involvement hangs heavy in the air. His portrayal of Rick O’Connell is synonymous with the franchise. The lack of official confirmation fuels speculation. Without Fraser, would a fourth film capture the same magic?
Spider-Man: Brand New Day
The webslinger is swinging in a new direction. Director Destin Daniel Cretton told Comic Book that he aimed to create something “different” with Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the MCU’s fourth Spidey flick. “This is a new chapter in his life,” Cretton said, highlighting a “tonal shift” that promises a fresh take on the beloved character.
All the creatives involved when I came on board wanted to do something that felt different. Of course, it’s still the Spider-Man that everybody loves, but this is a new chapter in his life, and that tonal shift was something that was really exciting to me. It felt really different, and it was an extremely gratifying experience.
Supergirl/Street Fighter
From the depths of the ocean to the heat of the arena, Jason Momoa is no stranger to transformation. Momoa revealed to Comic Book that his Lobo makeup for Supergirl demanded more time than his turn as Blanka in Street Fighter. Which begs the question: how much green paint is too much?
Oh well, it definitely be Lobo. Yeah…I don’t know…I was covered everywhere.
The Morrigan
Ancient Ireland, a land of myths and forgotten powers. Saffron Burrows stars as an archeologist who unwittingly awakens a pagan war goddess in the trailer for The Morrigan, also starring Toby Stephens. Prepare for a clash between the modern world and primal forces.
His Monster
Grief can twist reality into something terrifying. In the trailer for His Monster, a father grapples with the belief that a monster snatched his daughter away at sea. Is it delusion, or a horrifying truth?
Tomb Raider
Lara Croft is back, and she’s not just a pretty face. Speaking with the Los Angeles Times (via Screen Rant), Sophie Turner emphasized that the new Tomb Raider series highlights Lara’s “unashamedly capable” nature. “It’s about her and her story and what drives her,” Turner explained, “rather than what so many people also love about her, which is how hot she is in the games and the movies.” For Turner, Lara Croft is a symbol of strength, not just sex appeal.
It’s about her and her story and what drives her, rather than what so many people also love about her, which is how hot she is in the games and the movies. But I really want to show the other side. She’s so unashamedly capable. She is not a woman who hides her strengths at all.
Who is playing Lara Croft now?
Sophie Turner is set to portray Lara Croft in the upcoming Tomb Raider series. Turner, known for her roles in Game of Thrones and X-Men, brings a fresh take to the iconic character. Can she capture the essence of Croft while forging her own path?
