May has been an action-packed month for Xbox Game Pass, but mark your calendars because some fantastic titles are leaving the service soon. Starting on May 31, you’ll see four games depart, and if you’re a PC Game Pass subscriber, that number increases to five. It’s typical for titles to cycle in and out, but some games deserve your attention before they vanish.
Here’s the full list of all the games that will exit Xbox Game Pass after May 31:
- Cassette Beasts
- Humanity
- Remnant 2
- Slayers X: Terminal Afterthought: Vengeance of the Slayer
- Firework (PC Game Pass)
Remnant 2 is likely the title I’ll miss the most. Having joined the Game Pass lineup quite some time ago, it quickly became a game I dove into and completed in just a few weeks. It can be a challenging shooter, but it’s worth your time during the last week of May.

Cassette Beasts is another gem that hasn’t received the recognition it deserves. If you enjoy indie games and monster-catching mechanics, it may not be Pokémon or TemTem, but there’s plenty of engaging gameplay here, and you can complete it within the next few weeks.
While I haven’t explored much of Humanity or Slayers X, both games are unique in their own right. Humanity caters to puzzle platforming fans, while Slayers X serves as a nostalgic homage to classic FPS titles.
Puzzle enthusiasts should take note that Firework is also saying goodbye to PC Game Pass. I’ve played a bit of this horror puzzle game, and it provides intriguing challenges. Remember, these titles will be available until May 31 on Xbox Game Pass.
In contrast, May has also brought exciting games like Doom: The Dark Ages as Day One launches. I’m eagerly looking forward to what June has in store for us.
