Warzone Update: DM-10 Nerfed, Assault Rifles Buffed for Balance

Warzone Update: DM-10 Nerfed, Assault Rifles Buffed for Balance

A significant new Warzone update has just rolled out, dramatically altering the game meta by nerfing the recently favored, overpowered weapon.

In this update, the formidable DM-10 marksman rifle has faced a notable nerf alongside the Krig C, while various assault rifles have been buffed. Additionally, scopes on Black Ops 6 weapons have seen improvements, aimed at balancing the long-range dynamics in battle royale.

“Since Season Three, we’ve worked to define the Marksman Rifle class, ensuring each weapon has its unique role,” stated Raven Software. “The DM-10 has performed exceptionally well, but its performance in certain situations has surpassed others. In this update, we’re reducing its velocity, increasing the Aim Down Sight (ADS) time, and imposing stricter penalties for shots that don’t hit the upper torso or head. While the DM-10 will still shine in capable hands, more precision is now required to unlock its full potential. We’ll keep an eye on its performance and adjust as necessary.”

For BO6 weapons, the 2x, 3x, and 4x scopes have been tweaked to reduce visual recoil. This aims to enhance usability, particularly during long-range encounters, making it simpler to track and maintain focus on targets from a distance.
