Mine these columns for Cobalt, but be warned, deposits are usually small. Extract every bit you can find.
Cobalt can also be found underground in the same biome, but it is less common. Think of it as sifting through sand for gold – worth doing, but not the most rewarding method.
Is mining more effective during certain times of day in Hytale?
I haven’t noticed specific day/night cycles affecting Cobalt spawns, but visibility definitely changes. The low sun angles of dawn and dusk cast long shadows, making it harder to spot those shimmering veins. Stick to midday for surface mining, or bring plenty of light sources for underground exploration.
From Ore to Armor: Forging with Cobalt
Remember my near-death experience in the Whisperfront? Without refined Cobalt, I wouldn’t have survived. Raw Cobalt needs processing. The first thing you’ll require is a Furnace. Craft a Furnace at your base to smelt metals like Cobalt. Add fuel and Cobalt to the Furnace, and you’ll receive Cobalt Ingots.
