Heartopia Pets: How to Find & Get Them All

Heartopia Pets: How to Find & Get Them All

The soft glow of the screen illuminated my face as I scrolled through the Heartopia adoption pages. Each potential pet seemed to gaze back, silently pleading. How do you choose a companion in a digital world, where connection feels both immediate and strangely distant?

Heartopia offers a life-sim adventure where adopting pets is a heartwarming goal, though it requires patience. As of today, the primary choices are dogs and cats—sorry, but Oak-Oak doesn’t quite make the “pet” cut. Let’s explore how you can welcome a furry friend into your Heartopia home.

Bringing Home Your First Pet

Remember waiting in line for concert tickets, anticipation building with each shuffle forward? Reaching D.G. Member Level 12 in Heartopia feels similar. The time it takes varies depending on your play style, but once you hit the mark, a quest directs you to Mrs. Joan at the Adoption Center.

To become a pet parent, you’ll need the Pet Care hobby. Begin by mastering the five basic hobbies: Cooking, Insect Catching, Bird Watching, Fishing, and Gardening. After that, visit Mrs. Joan and give her a Hobby Expansion Ticket. This will grant you access to both Cat Caring and Dog Caring.

Adding More Companions to Your Heartopia Family

Adopting a pet in Heartopia is like choosing a character class in an RPG – each brings unique qualities. The first pet you can get is a cat, closely followed by a dog.

What cat breeds are available for adoption?

Talk to Mrs. Joan and choose the options related to cats. You’ll see three cats waiting for a home. Take time to “meet” each one; you can see their breed, gender, and personality. This step helps you find a cat that suits your virtual lifestyle.

When you’re ready, select Adopt. If you’re unsure, you can go back and consider another cat. Your chosen feline will then settle into your home, and you can use your in-game smartwatch to monitor their needs and happiness.

Can you get different dog breeds in Heartopia?

After talking about cats, ask Mrs. Joan to continue the conversation; she’ll introduce you to the available dogs. The adoption process mirrors that of cats. Like before, you can view three different pups, each with their unique breed, gender, and personality before confirming your decision.

Are there any other pets planned for Heartopia?

Details about future pets beyond cats and dogs are scarce as of today. Players often datamine for clues or watch for announcements from the game developers, XD Inc., on platforms like Twitter or Discord. The Heartopia community is active and quick to share any news about upcoming content, including new potential pets.

With your new pet at home, how will you build a bond that feels real, even in a virtual world?
