Arknights Endfield: Powering Resonance Towers

Arknights Endfield: Powering Resonance Towers

The Arknights Endfield factory hummed, silent and still. I stared at the schematic: without power, the entire operation was a multi-million credit paperweight. The Valley Reboot quest demands you place Relay Towers just so to get things moving, and you’ll need to electrify them before anything else.

You’re thrown into Arknights Endfield, and concepts are fired at you through the tutorial. Setting up Relay Towers can feel a bit much at first. I’m going to explain the steps to keep in mind when powering the towers to wrap up the Valley Reboot quest, and get you back to building.

The Spark: Powering Up in Arknights Endfield

Ever watch a construction crew struggle to get a generator started on a job site? That’s what it felt like trying to get my first Relay Tower online. Clear the tutorial and initial quests until you arrive at Talos-II. Then, wrap up the Break the Siege quest by taking out the Ankhor at the AIC Research Center after tangling with enemies at the Hub Base Power Plant. When the PAC touches down, the objective “Transmit Power to the Protocol Resonance Tower” kicks off.

To nail this objective, drop Power Relays and link them up using cables.

  • Place the Power Relay Tower inside the radius of the PAC Automation Core. Don’t skip this.
  • Press F to kick off the transmission, then head to the quest marker, dragging the cable.
  • Spot the outline of another tower; build the second Power Relay Tower here.
  • Press F to attach the transmission cable, which powers the second tower.

What happens if the Power Relay is not in the PAC radius?

If the Power Relay sits outside the PAC’s influence, it’s like trying to charge your phone with a broken cable; nothing happens. Make certain it’s snug within the radius to get that power flowing. Reposition if necessary; it can save a lot of frustration.

  • Once linked, press F again to get the juice flowing. Stick to the quest marker while lugging that cable.
  • You’ll see the ghost of a relay tower. Build it, and connect it with the cable.
  • Press F one more time to grab the cable and hook it up to the Protocol Resonance Tower.

Can I move the Power Relay Towers after placing them?

Yes, you absolutely can. The ability to reposition a Relay Tower in Arknights Endfield is your safety net. Made a mistake? Simply pick it up and relocate. It’s far easier than dismantling and rebuilding the whole structure.

So, you’re going to need a pair of Power Relay Towers, and all three need to be online before you run that line to the Protocol Resonance Tower. If you misplace a Relay Tower, don’t sweat it; just pick it up and try again.

What if I run out of cable?

Running out of cable in Arknights Endfield is like running out of gas halfway to the next town. You’ll need to backtrack to your PAC and initiate another power transmission sequence, effectively extending the cable. Keep an eye on the distance to prevent this mid-transmission stall.
