Imagine standing on a sunlit shore, the salty breeze whipping through your hair, yet there’s a sinking feeling in your chest—you need Copper Ingots, but they’re not just waiting for you to scoop them up. These precious resources are essential for crafting tools, completing quests, and fortifying your base in Windrose. Without them, your progress halts, leaving your pirate dreams at a standstill.
How to Craft Copper Ingots in Windrose
Right after you begin the first tutorial quest, you’ll become acquainted with Copper Ingots. They are your compass guiding you through the basic tasks of a budding pirate. Here’s how you can jumpstart your journey to crafting those invaluable Ingots.

- Your first objective is to create a stone pickaxe on the workbench. This requires five Wood, alongside three more Wood and three Stones specifically for the pickaxe itself.
- Next, venture to a location where copper ore thrives. These hotspots often appear on your map marked with a pickaxe icon. You’ll discover Copper Ore nestled inside caves, waiting to be extracted.
- Once your pockets are brimming with Copper Ore, return to your camp.
The next step is to craft a Charcoal Kiln to produce Charcoal. Gather 25 Wood and 20 Clay to construct the Kiln. With it, you’ll convert one piece of Wood into one piece of Charcoal. The journey continues with building a Smelting Furnace needed to turn your Ore into Ingots. For this, you’ll need 15 Clay and 30 Stones.

Once your Smelting Furnace is operational, place your Copper Ore inside. Combine it with the Charcoal you created from the Kiln. In mere moments, watch your Copper Ore be transformed into shining Ingots.
To create one Copper Ingot, you’ll need six pieces of Copper Ore and one piece of Charcoal. Aim to craft as many as possible—you’ll soon realize they are integral in quests like “I Need a Bigger Boat.” What will you build next with your newfound resources?
