How to Get and Use the Voltage Converter in ARC Raiders

How to Get and Use the Voltage Converter in ARC Raiders

The loot room slams and my headset cracks with static—someone else is on the crate. You need a Voltage Converter and every second you hesitate raises the chance you’ll walk away empty-handed. I learned the hard way that knowing where to look beats relying on hope.

I’ve logged dozens of runs, read Steam threads, watched a few Twitch raids, and lurked in Discord channels to map where this little part turns up. You and I can skip the guesswork and get straight to the spots that matter.

On Dam Battlegrounds the turbines hum: Best locations for Voltage Converter in ARC Raiders

The Voltage Converter is an electrical component, so treat Electrical-tagged zones as prime real estate. Across all five maps, Electrical areas have a higher spawn rate—focus there and you already tilt the odds in your favor.

Where can I find Voltage Converter in ARC Raiders?

Start with two maps that consistently pay out: Dam Battlegrounds and Stella Montis. On Dam Battlegrounds head north to the Power Generation Complex. It’s dense with electrical loot and now includes the Controlled Access Zone puzzle that can drop extra components once you solve it. The Voltage Converter is a needle in a haystack if you wander aimlessly—be surgical.

Stella Montis has multiple high-probability pockets: the Lobby, the Tunnels, and the Communications rooms. If those are contested, drift to the Fuel Control Tower in Spaceport or Pilgrim’s Peak on Blue Gate—both are solid alternatives.

Can you buy Voltage Converters from traders?

Yes. Open the Traders tab and talk to Celese. She refreshes stock daily and sells up to five Voltage Converters per day for 10 Assorted Seeds each. When you can’t risk a contested run, Celese becomes a lighthouse in a storm—predictable and quick.

If you want to avoid RNG entirely, check Steam community guides and the official ARC Raiders Discord for player-sourced spawn maps. Moyens I/O and Twitch creators also post short clips highlighting spawn patterns that can shave minutes off your search.

You can also recycle certain items to recover Voltage Converters. Break these down when you’re hoarding parts:

  • Heavy Shield
  • Industrial Charger
  • Ion Sputter
  • Signal Amplifier

In the workshop the Weather Monitor System blinks: How to use Voltage Converter in ARC Raiders

The Weather Monitor System project sits on your log with a glaring missing piece—three Voltage Converters. That final submission is what will open your rewards.

You need three Voltage Converters to finish the Weather Monitor System. Turn them in during the final stage and you’ll receive a Tactical Mk. 3 Revival augment plus group rewards: an Anemometer Backpack Charm and 250 Raider Tokens.

Voltage Converters are also crafting components for a couple of useful items:

  • Heavy Shield (requires Power Rod and Voltage Converter)
  • Showstopper (requires Electrical Components, Hornet Driver, and Voltage Converter)

The Showstopper is particularly nasty against larger ARCs—if your group faces heavy units regularly, prioritize Voltage Converter farming and swap tips on Discord or Steam groups so everyone benefits.

My runs favor quick clear routes through Electrical rooms, hitting the trader only when time is tight. You can treat this like a tiny economy: farm spawns, recycle excess, and buy the rest from Celese.

Is hoarding Voltage Converters good strategy or just poor sportsmanship—what’s your take?
