Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Tier List — March 2026

Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Tier List — March 2026

I dropped into a raid with a half-formed team and watched the boss clear my plan in ten seconds. You feel that tiny panic—do I reroll, keep, or sink resources into a character that will fade? I wrote this because I want you to make that choice with confidence, not guesswork.

On the bus, people argue about who to pull; at the raid table you decide who carries the run. Complete The Seven Deadly Sins Origin character tier list (March 2026)

I play the closed beta and I follow the forums on Reddit and the official Netmarble Discord; you should treat this as a starting map, not a manifesto. The game is live on PC and PS5 (Steam and PlayStation Store support) with mobile coming soon, and characters are direct lifts from Nakaba Suzuki’s manga and the anime—each arrives with its own advantages and trade-offs. I ranked characters assuming their strongest available kit and the builds you’ll actually field in co-op and solo content.

Quick disclaimer: Much of this list leans on closed-beta data and my hands-on testing. I will revise the tiers as patches, kits, and the full roster land.

S-tier

If you raid with one of these, you reduce the guesswork. These are the characters I would reroll for or target with limited resources.

  • Meliodas: The team’s living clutch heal is Meliodas. His support kits let you stack a single HP bar for the party and deliver continuous recovery—he is a lighthouse in a storm when fights spiral out of control. Dual-sword or single-sword builds both work; your choice should follow weapon synergy and team composition.
  • Jericho: Jericho is damage personified and flexible across content. Her Dual Sword kit applies Freeze via Special Attack and her Frozen Saber lets her teleport behind enemies to score heavy hits while pumping the Burst Gauge—Jericho is a thunderclap in a quiet cathedral. If you want a universal DPS, she’s the one to chase.
  • Diane: Diane trades raw single-target burst for dependable sustain and control. She generates shields from passives, heals herself from burst damage, and her Axe kit brings stuns for crowd control. In certain team shells she simply eclipses Jericho, but she’s more niche in mixed rosters.

A-tier

These characters are strong and flexible, and they often sit in S-tier when paired with the right allies or kits.

  • King: With the Staff kit, King plays a support that scales—his Bloom effect buffs allies’ damage and he pairs exceptionally with Diane because of Earth synergies. Swap to Book for a defensive role that drops barriers and frustrates burst-dependent enemies.
  • Elaine: Elaine is a heavy defensive specialist. She hands out thick shields, cuts incoming damage, and reduces enemy burst resistance so your DPS can hit their windows faster. Pair her with Jericho or Diane for very strong combinations.
  • Manny: Manny shines in burst teams. She applies Punishment, turning affected foes into crit magnets and layering extra Holy damage. She also buffs ally Crit Damage and chips away at enemy Element Defense.
  • Howzer: A friendly pick for free-to-play players, Howzer applies Bleed to sap healing and amplify damage over time. His simplicity is his virtue; he scales less impressively once the roster widens, but he carries value early on.

Who should I reroll for in The Seven Deadly Sins Origin?

If you’re aiming for mileage through co-op and PvE progression, aim your pulls at Meliodas for secure sustain or Jericho for raw DPS. I recommend prioritizing characters that slot into multiple team roles—those are the ones that survive meta shifts and patch work.

Is Jericho the best DPS?

She’s the most versatile current DPS: strong single-target, excellent in burst windows, and useful across most content. In tight niche comps Diane can outpace her, but Jericho gives you fewer blind spots.

B-tier

Use these while you wait for better pulls, or if you’re a fan of their playstyle.

  • Guila: Guila deals Fire Burst in Demon Form and her crits halve cooldowns—good when you can chain forms reliably.
  • Drake: Lightning damage and extended Burst Duration are his hooks, but the element lacks strong partners right now.
  • Slader: He mixes Fire and Physical damage but needs investment; base numbers are modest so he’s not a primary DPS until built.
  • Hendrickson: He’s a niche enabler—very good with Meliodas but otherwise underwhelming.
  • Tristan: Everyone starts with him, and his Fire kit is fine for learning the game. Beyond that, he’s replaceable.

C-tier

These are the weakest picks from my beta runs; replace them when you can.

  • Bug
  • Dreydrin
  • Dreyfus
  • Gilthunder
  • Griamore
  • Tioreh

I’ll keep tracking patch notes, balance threads on Reddit, and performance data from Steam users and Pro content creators to update this list after full launch—are you willing to bet your pulls on current placements or wait to see how the meta reshapes itself?
